I don't think so. But being slimmer might have the overall effect of making you look taller.

I would think so as weight can effect a person's posture. Better posture equals taller posture ?

I was married 23 yrs...now peacefully divorced 4 yrs. When going in for my annual exams the doctor measures my height each time. About two years after my divorce...My height measured a half inch taller than previously measured...and I'm 50 (joyfully so).

It's what's within that is of importance...not the outside ' shell '.

No at all. You may look taller because you have lost some weight, but in reality you are the same height.

No, I don't think so - the only thing it might help with is improving your posture. Since losing 30 pounds, I've strengthened and improved the muscles in my back so I stand up taller now... but I'm still only 5'4".

Losing weight will not help you grow taller. Biologically, your height and your weight are independent characteristics. How much you weigh does not influence how tall you are or will be. Your height does not influence how much you weigh or will weigh.

I don't think so.
But what's sure is, when you lose weight, you appear taller than when you're fat.
