If he did, why shouldnt I?

If I was a Christian, wouldnt that be the way I should worship God because I have to follow Jesus word for word?

If you say I cant worship God directly because Jesus had no sin but I do, then youre saying I cant be like Jesus at all.

So which is it? Can I be like him and try to? or should I not even attempt to?

Jesus was without "Sin" while he walked the earth. Not another Human can account for that. We are to live are lives as sin free as possible.

Jesus is Gods Son
But you sound Muslim, which states in the Quran that "If Allah Begot a Son I would be the first to worship him for Allah begot no sons."

That is the difference between Islam and Christianity. Islam took out the whole context of Jesus and only put Him in the position of just a mere Prophet coming from a Miraculous Birth.

You my friend are dead set in your way of thinking just as I am

If Jesus is God like Christians believe then what you just said is "How come the Jews and Muslims are able to worship God directly without going through God?"

Yes, He had & has open communication with the Father. Yes, we have open commuciation with the Father, too, through the Holy Spirit, Who makes intercession for us with utterings and groanings we do not hear or speak...a spiritual language if you will. If you were a Christian you should worship & communicate directly just as Jesus did. He not only is the Savior but He is our model for living the Christian life. While He was on earth He taught us how to pray, how to worship, how to live, how to search our hearts for truth, how to study the Word, how to share the Word, & on & on & on. No one can stop you from worship or prayer to the Father. He knows your very thoughts. Can't get more direct than that. God bless you for asking....good question.

Jesus, God the Son, worshiped God the Father directly and showed how God was to be worshiped, in other words his worship showed us an example. Jesus said, "For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified." John 17:19 How did Jesus say we should worship God? He said we should worship God in Spirit and truth.(John 4:23-24) If one wants to worship God they must have the Holy Spirit, and one can only receive the Holy Spirit by believing in Jesus.(John 14:16, John 15:26, John 16:7) One can also only receive the Holy Spirit by knowing the truth, the truth is God is holy and we are not. The only way to be reconciled with God is to believe Jesus Christ, the sinless one, died for our sins and rose again to give us access to God and eternal life. So you see only a Christian, one who believes in the name of Jesus, can truly worship God because they are the only ones who worship in Spirit and truth. This is how God wants you to worship. Peace be with you.

Yes, Jesus did worship God directly and all Christians, if they are true followers of the Bible, should follow suit.

Yes, Jesus worshiped God directly. Christians worship directly too. The prayer becomes powerful when done in Jesus name.

You follow Jesus word for word?......Wel, He said if you ask anything in my name you shall receive it from my father in heaven

MyPublic made the comment that Jesus disagreed with his Father.
He didn't.
Here is the same scripture from the NWT.
(Luke 19:27-28) Moreover, these enemies of mine that did not want me to become king over them BRING here and slaughter them before me.’” 28 So, after he had said these things, he began to go on ahead, going up to Jerusalem.

This was future, when Jesus was installed as King of God's Kingdom,, and Armageddon had arrived.
The deaths were those of those who refused to comply with God's requirements.
(Revelation 19:17) I saw also an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice and said to all the birds that fly in midheaven: “Come here, be gathered together to the great evening meal of God,

(Revelation 19:21) But the rest were killed off with the long sword of the one seated on the horse, which [sword] proceeded out of his mouth. And all the birds were filled from the fleshy parts of them.
(Psalm 37:9) For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.

Yes, you pray to the father (God) however you do it in the name of his son Jesus Christ, as he is the mediator between man and God. There is no other way to heaven than through his son who has prepared the way for us through the atonement. When Jesus died on the cross he did so with out sin. Death is the price we pay for sin as he never sinned then he was able to overcome death. He also suffered for all the sins in the world allowing us to be cleansed in his suffering so we would not have to. He loved us in the world that much.

Good sons always worship good fathers.

Why should not God the Father and God the Son and their relationship be any different.

Of course do you not realize that:

1) Jesus is God?

AND

2) Jesus is to be worshiped?

AND

3) Jesus's disciples worshiped him after God the Father raised him?

Yes Jesus was in constant fellowship with God,when all sin was put on HIM that was the only time he was absent from the father. That is why it was so painful for him.He felt this separation and it was unbearable.
