We live a self-centered life... it's about our needs, our wants. Howvever there is something greater and it is God, Creator and sustainer of all things. Isn't it evident in our broken nature that because we find things (like creation or the existence of God) that are greater than us, that we cannot fully explain, we tend to deny it?
Sort of a self protection...when God has so much for us, that we were created for relationship with him, and are lost without that relationship?
Our rebellion from God, and seeking of ourselves, keeps us from the life now, and the eternal life, that God has for us.

You are right. That is the best and most poetically prophetical put question on the subject i have ever read.

When man submits to the Lord GOD life is so much more full. Instead of drinking in this glory from GOD most refuse to admit that GOD exists, because to admit that would mean to admit they are sinners.

GOD bless and keep you.

Yes God exists but not for just getting our selfish needs met.People in general are selfish seekers. They really want it their way or the high way,so I think that is why people will not trust God.It would mean they may not get to live this life the way they choose, therefore to deny God they do not need any conscience that we exist for a higher purpose other then ourselves. As a christian we know its about dying to our wants and sometimes even what we think we need.Relationship with God can be lonely, especially when you are given the cup of adversity. Not my will but thy will be done,is not the cup that many will choose. Then we as human decide God is unloving because we do not get what we want. Our souls crave God but our flesh says no.Thank you God for Jesus as he really understands us.Jesus has made it possible to be human and relate to our God doesn't HE.

Millajov...even if you had proof, you would not believe.
Proof? Here's the proof...prophecy fulfilled...100%.
Israel becoming a nation in 1948...no nation has ceased to exist and came back into being...except Israel, just as the Bible foretold 2500 years ago. People are coming from all over the world, leaving their lives, to live in Israel, just as the Bible foretold 2500 years ago. Israel was a mixture of giant swamp land and desert, however now the land is fruitful and beautiful, just as the Bible said it would be...2500 years ago. However, I don't think it is proof you are after.

As far as your comment...Athiest...I have four children and love all of them...and I too discipline them when needed. However, your sin and mine was paid for on the cross, whether you accept that gift determines your outcome...so you can't blame God for that...He made the way. Because you do not agree with His way, this is what seems to bother you.

"Blessed are those who believe, even though they do not see".

I'd rather say I don't know how it all happened than say well, I don't know how it happened so I must assume some deity did it. Sorry, that's just not believable for me no matter how hard I try (and I tried for years). If there was a god, there would be irrefutable proof. The lack of it proves there is no such thing.

No, we try harder to explain it.

Frankly, it seems to me that your way is terribly lazy, arrogant, impatient, and defeatist.

I know you desperately want nonbelief to be about pride and denial, but it simply isn't. That's just the propaganda you're getting from people who have sadly devoted their lives to a falsehood.

Now, if you watch this forum, you'll soon see a Christian complain that Christians are the only ones who get mistreated here, and that they don't get any respect. But look at what you just did, and how some of the Christians among your respondents acted (e.g., the one below who said that non-Christians are following "Satan"). I suspect that you don't think that you were rude and uncivilized, but that's exactly how you behaved here, and this kind of question (and those kinds of answers) are deeply deserving of disrespect and yes, even the ridicule, sarcasm, and anger that they get in response.

No denial on my part. I must have to explain at all cost an explainable questions to be ask and there is no reason of denying what you can explain.

Its easier to deny it. If you are a true Christian you know that it is much easier to not be a Christian than to be one. As far as the worldly attitudes and perceptions you are discussing.
There are different rules for Christians. We are also under attack spiritually. There are only 2 sides. Gods and Satans.
If you choose God- satan is always trying to mess with you. Why? Because you are a threat. Thats awesome. Thats a compliment to me. I personally am a threat to Satan. Why does God let us be under attack? Because he knows that those who truly love him can handle it and will persevere. Amen!
Those who ignore God- follow satan. This world is their oyster so to speak. Satan doesn't mess with them he can't and won't- thats the way to control the endless masses. Is to appease them and trick them into thinking they are smarter and greater than Christians.
He needs all the help he can get. Although we know it will never be enough. Yes, they are lost and have been manipulated far worse than they can ever imagine. Unfortunately- they will know someday- when the die.
As will we, the Christians.
Thats what is sad. Most people truly don't know or believe that all this is happening. they are ignorant to the truth. It breaks my heart.

Personally I don't deny God.I doubt God.She certainly gives us no evidence of her existence.I keep an open mind though. If she ever reveals herself and explains the indifferent world she created.I'll hop right on her bandwagon.
