Pick up the Village Voice (or look at their website) to get the skinny on the local clubs/bars. You can also walk through the West Village and practically run into a rock band at every turn!

CBGBs used to be the rocking house until it closed its doors after 30 years. So many places open and close it's tough to keep track. If you walk, however, on Avenue B in the East Village between 2nd street and 11th street, you will find a rocking club.

Omaha, Nebraska has an exceptionally super song scene, exceptionally. that's between the biggest interior the country. Ever heard of Saddle Creek information? that's based in Omaha, alongside with many different recording companies, which contain American Gramophone, and others. a marvelous form of persons do no longer think of of Nebraska as having a huge song scene, despite the fact that it truly does.
