If I were to look at a black person and say that I don't trust them because they may steal my car, that would be racist. If I looked at a white person and said they can't dance because they are white, that would be racist. Isn't calling Christians hypocrites racist as well? You are assuming that because one Christian is judgemental and hypocritical that we all are. That is ignorance and raceist!

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOUR IGNORANCE POINT. Any SPLITTING UP OF HUMAN KIND IN "they" AND "WE" IS VERY DANGEROUS.
BUT THE TERM RACISM REFERS NOT TO PEOPLES RELIGIOUS OR SPIRITUAL BACKGROUND, BUT TO THE BREED.
THEREFORE IT IS NOT EXACTLY RACISM, BUT A LOT OF PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SOCIOLOGICAL RESEARCH HAS SHOWN, THAT THESE WAYS OF DIVIDING PEOPLE IN 1-UP AND 1-DOWN IS CLOSELY RELATED TO RACISM-

If that is so then please tell ME WHY all the answers I have had and all that hate mail I get from your kind do what they do. I have been on here a while and a large percent of Christians DO insult everyone and anyone they want. Example one-Wendy R did not like my answer and kept sending me hate mail, which included threatening my pets and hundreds of emails saying Jesus Loves You also this kid David is getting baptized and he said now he could look down upon us and see us burning in hell. Yet another one said that people like us should not be in here. So you tell me WHY you people act this way. Most of you in fact act this way. I could save all the questions Christians insult us with and write a book. So please explain the actions and the behavior of these your fellow Christians. It isn't racism if you are defending yourself.
Trying to make a point? I think it is more like defending you and the others like you. You made no point except that you do not understand the difference between racism and religion.

Well "racist" is not being used in the correct form in your question. Religion is not a separate race. So if someone disagrees with someones religion that is not racist. But maybe we can invent a different word for it?
How about "religiousism", or "religionism", or "Christianism, or, "Ignorantantichristianism, or " De-Popeism" or "religiracist" or "anti-thumpers", or "atheracers." This should be brought to a vote because all people in modern day USA deserve to have a group name placed upon them.
But the premise of your question is true and correct, thank you for asking it.

I wouldn't call it racism..being judgmental yes. But that is part of being a Christian..we are gonna be persecuted for our beliefs. We are to turn the criticism that we receive into spiritual growth. Through tests we grow closer and stronger with God. Yes it is frustrating to be labeled a hypocrite because we aren't like other Christians but you cant let it get you down. Just continue your walk with Christ and pray for those who persecute you. It will all be worth it in the end.

Is it generalizing when the trend seems so obvious?
I personally think that there are two kings of Christians.
One group tries to follow the teachings and example of Jesus.
The other is some sort of a judgmental hate full polar opposite of what Jesus taught and stood for.
One group are probably truly Christians.
The other thinks that they are but they are wrong.
Love and blessings Don

Raciest? Just what race would you be saying is judgmental and hypocritical? As far as I know there only three races on men. All three are represented in Christianity. They have be bigoted but not racist. Jim

You are very funny. Thanks.
You are assuming that because such a large number of Christians are judgemental and hypocritical that they all are. That is ignorance and raceist!

Christians are not a race. Christians are a religion. Call it religious bigotry if you like , but you can't call it racism.

No... Christianity isn't a race so it can't be racism...
Besides your definition of racism is wrong. I don't consider either of your examples racism - Stereotypes perhaps but NOT racism
