If I were to look at a black person and say that I don't trust them because they may still my car, that would be racist. If I looked at a white person and said they can't dance because they are white, that would be racist. Isn't calling Christians hypocrites racist as well? You are assuming that because one Christian is judgemental and hypocritical that we all are. That is ignorance and raceist!

It's not racist (because that's based on race).

Don't we already have a word for that ? I think it is bigot. The following is from Wikipedia :

"A bigot is a prejudiced person who is intolerant of opinions, lifestyles, or identities differing from his or her own.

The origin of the word bigot in English dates back to at least 1598, via Middle French, and started with the sense of "religious hypocrite", especially a woman. Bigot is often used as a pejorative term against a person who is obstinately devoted to their prejudices even when these views are challenged or proven to be false."

Well ... according to this, almost EVERYBODY is a bigot!!

Not so much racist as prejudice and true. Every Christian that witnesses suffering, physical or mental, puts another nail in the cross of Jesus to keep him down. He suffers with all those that suffer. What did those in the Holocaust or the African slaves of America think? or the present day Afghanistan's or the Iraqi's. A Christian are ambassadors of Christ.

Racism exists throughout the world and in all communities. There will never be an end to it. The world is full of ignorance and teaching one person at a time, although slow, might help put a damper on those who are closed minded!!

No it isn't racist because Christianity isn't a race, it's a religion. Being prejudiced against someone for being caucasian, black, Indian, Chinese or any other race (ie how you look according you where to come from) is racism. It has nothing to do with religion.

Oh well, you use the word "racist", very loosely.

I see the Muslims doing it all the time. Please do try to understand that a person who discriminates on the basis of Religion or has fixed ideas is called a "bigot" not a "racist".

And, I'm afraid what you're trying to say is "steal" not "still" Besides there's the problem of number agreement in the first sentence. A person cannot be "they" and "them" but "him" and "he". Again, you have the same error in the next sentence.

Kindly do try to polish your English, won't you?

Cheers!

It may be ignorant, but it isnt racist to make assumptions about someone based on their religious beliefs. Racism is treating someone differently based on their RACE. What you are describing is something else.

For Gods sake, the last thing we need in this Country is someone else who yells
"i'm offended". I'm Christian, but geez, it
seems like every single person in this Country is whining about something.
We live in the United States of the Offended.

the white one is more of a joke, then your black example, i do not reccommend telling a black person that you are afraid because you think they will STEAL your car, because then they will shoot you, and Christianity is not a race

Christianity as a race...eh....

Thank goodness that's not true.

But call it whatever you want. Christianity and Humanity seem to have different opinions on most labels anyway.

You call this 'racism', I would call it 'silly'.

I call two guys in love 'gay', Christians call it 'wrong'.

We don't seem to agree on most labels, so if you prefer to call it racism, it's Ok, really.
