Next time they start, go outside into your front garden dressed in a pair of horns, a long red pointy tail out of the back of your trousers and carry a trident (or similar fork shaped thing) and ask them politely to quieten down as you are trying to sacrifice a virgin and cant hear her screaming! If you can paint your face red and have a goat or two running round the place that would help. Second thought forget the goat, they will just think you are Welsh

Write a letter to the owner of the chapel and mosque expressing that the noise is bothering you and perhaps they'll tone it down a bit. Everyone has a right to worship in their own way, but they need to do it respectfully. I do sympathize with you.

Move house!

Islam and Catholicism will never be banned so get over yourself and stop being such a stereotypical idiot!

I cannot believe people are taking this question seriously. For one Muslims dont have band practice at mosque or anywhere else people. Give yourselves a shake why dont you.

Band Practice...it is Haraam(forbidden) to play music in mosques. So how can they be playing a band.

No. People should be allowed to believe as they wish. I just wish that they would keep it to themselves and try to be a positive force in the world, rather than a primary source of division, violence, and discrimination.

Hmmm....my apartment is right under the flight path for the air base here...I think I'd rather have music than C-130's and F-16's all day and night...LOL

You can report them to the council who will send someone to measure the amount of sound if its over a certain limit they will have to stop or make less sound

You could try petitioning your local governing body to at least have their band moved a couple of blocks further away.

Otherwise, if you're in the US, they have the protection of the First Amendment.

Noise ordinance.

But I think if you ask them nicely, they would very likely turn down the music. They might even invite you to some dinner or suppers.
