Oh, jeez.
Hey, would you like to buy a bridge? I've got a good one in a prime location, connecting Manhattan and Brooklyn.
=============
My calendar says that it's 2007. Why are we still seeing questions here from the 11th century?

They do this because it's a known fact that releasing pent up
anger and emotions is theraputic. Some types of christianity
still believe in demons rather than actual illness. One example
is where Jesus is supposed to have cast out a demon of a
common disorder called epilepsy. We now know differently
and modern medicine controls the seizures. If the so called
demon was indeed real then no medicine could control it. How could it? A demon spirit can't metabolize medication. These angry and hurt people scream out curses too, any name would be just as effective to vent with.

I've been surrounded, you could say, by things like deliverance in church. Imagine yourself in a dark closet, and you open that door just a crack, the darkness is gone - it's not enough light to illuminate the room, but the darkness is gone.
In recent revival meetings that I've been to, one of the things that works really well is singing the song "Oh the Blood of Jesus" amazing things happen when we do that.
When people go crazy and start screaming and things - 9 times of 10 if not all the time, it is not "them" per se, it is the spirit, demon, infirmity whatever, screaming for a way to get out.
Personally, for me, there is no sound greater than someone being delivered - whether they scream or cry or shout.

It's not magic, it's the power of God. The New Testament says to do all in the name of Jesus. From baptism to praying over you waffles, it should all be done in Jesus' name.
Read Acts 2:38. Even salvation comes only in the name of Jesus. And Matthew 28:18-20... all power is in Jesus' name. Verse 19 explains that we should only baptize in the NAME of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Not the titles, the name. What is that name? Jesus!
Those who contend there are no spirits have clearly never stood face to face with someone who is possessed. Nothing has changed since the days Jesus walked the Earth. The same spirits still interact with people and the same "experts" who have never seen it still scoff.

I believe that the name of Jesus Christ carrys power cause of His ressurection from the dead and of lot of other reasons. He overcame the world and Satan himself. Also, I think that some people are more insightful or sensitive to the spiritual realm. I think that if your a true believer of Christ and you try to go out of your way to find Christ and be rid of your sinful nature, your own demons will try to get you back on there side.

Demons cannot stand the name of Jesus. They know that they must depart and demons do not like roaming around outside of a body.

She was an emotional basket case. Plain and simple. Or maybe she had a few too many drinks before the service -- those are the only spirits that would pertain to this nonsense.

There is no such thing as "Possession." It's a combination of symptoms from a variety of mental illnesses. Even the catholic church pretty much has closed the book on those ideas.
