You must be terrified; I will certainly pray for you and for your family. God only allows as much burden as one can handle; obviously,
He feels you can cut it. you are able.
Your witness is a great one for God; and if
you lose the leg tomorrow, but are able to stay alive because of it, then your witness for Him will be more powerful than all the Pastors, Priests and Preachers combined.
I will hold you in prayer the entire day tomorrow. Hang tough, and know that
Jesus Christ will never leave or forsake you.
His will for us may be a hard path, but in
the end you will realize the reason for it.
God Bless you and your family.

God is so good and powerful, keep your eyes upon him. Give your whole self to(mind, body, soul) him let him lead you. Leaving it all in Gods hands is hard to do, but the rewards he gives us are so great when doing so. You can bet that i will be praying for you and your family, and also the doctors. I will also pray that he will give you peace. Let him wrap you in his arms and carry you through this. I wish the best for you. They do a lot with cancer now, please keep the faith, and try to hold strong. Love you in Christ!

My thoughts are with you. The key to survival in this situation is attitude. You will do well. Our prayers are with you, too.
The roughest part will be rehab. Do your exercises, and remember to set goals you can reach. In my case, I kept imagining that I would finally be able to kick my therapist in the back of the knee with my prosthesis. This was a great motivator. He kept pushing me, to the point I felt like he hated me. (I know he was not pushing out of hate, but that was how I felt.) When the day finally came that I could kick him, (and I did, by the way...) he hugged me and we have been great friends ever since.
Work hard and you will do well!

God is good --- All the time.
Susan,
You are a strong woman of faith, and God's grace's are upon you and your family. Christ the physician will be there for you and your beloved ones. I will also be including you into my daily Rosary Prayers. As I cannot image the suffering Christ under went, I also cannot imagine the suffering you are about to undergo. However, I have faith, hope, and love of God, and you too demonstrate this faith, hope, and love to him as well through the writings u'v shared here. This is what will carry you and your beloved through this suffering.
Excerpts from the Catechism:
"1506 Christ invites his disciples to follow him by taking up their cross in their turn. By following him they acquire a new outlook on illness and the sick. Jesus associates them with his own life of poverty and service. He makes them share in his ministry of compassion and healing: "So they went out and preached that men should repent. And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many that were sick and healed them.
1507 The risen Lord renews this mission ("In my name . . . they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover." ) and confirms it through the signs that the Church performs by invoking his name. These signs demonstrate in a special way that Jesus is truly "God who saves."
1508 The Holy Spirit gives to some a special charism of healing <1 Cor 12:9, 28, 30> so as to make manifest the power of the grace of the risen Lord. But even the most intense prayers do not always obtain the healing of all illnesses. Thus St. Paul must learn from the Lord that "my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness," and that the sufferings to be endured can mean that "in my flesh I complete what is lacking in Christ's afflictions for the sake of his Body, that is, the Church." <2 Cor 12:9; Col 1:24>
1509 "Heal the sick!" The Church has received this charge from the Lord and strives to carry it out by taking care of the sick as well as by accompanying them with her prayer of intercession. She believes in the life-giving presence of Christ, the physician of souls and bodies. This presence is particularly active through the sacraments, and in an altogether special way through the Eucharist, the bread that gives eternal life and that St. Paul suggests is connected with bodily health.
1510 However, the apostolic Church has its own rite for the sick, attested to by St. James: "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders [presbyters] of the Church and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will save the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." Tradition has recognized in this rite one of the seven sacraments."
May God Bless you and yours and keep you all always. Peace and the joy of Christ be with you,
G.G.

There is nothing to be afraid of, trust me.
No matter what happens you will be fine and lovingly cared for.
Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.
While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.
Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.
I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.
I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.
I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.
Your brother don

This may not be of much comfort now.
This life is very short.
In the next life, those that are saved by the grace of GOD, through JESUS CHRIST, will be restored WHOLLY and HOLY
in body, mind, soul, and spirit.
So shall we ever be with THE LORD.
LORD JESUS, please heal our sister.
