Its a great, great book and I agree that it
should be mandatory reading for all Christians. It certainly shines a light on the truth......

Yes, I am aware of it. The rapture theory is just one of the false doctrines that Scripture warns about.
As one evangelist of the early 1990's said " It seems to me to be only a trick of the devil to fool God's people so that they will not be on the firing line for God."
Another great book is The Rapture Trap by Paul Thigpen.

Sounds really interesting to someone that does not understand what the Bible says about the rapture.
It is described in 1Corinthians 15:51-58, and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.

I never heard of this book....was it written by a bible scholar or someone who is an atheist? atheists are always trying to "expose" theories...however their efforts are not based on truth..
there are references to an event that the rapture describes in the bible....whether someone believes the bible is a matter of choice....
Not every christian will be raptured....only true believers will experience this event...the hypocrites and false claimers who have ruined the reputation of Christ will have to remain behind to experience the tribulation along with non-believers. I am guessing only about 20% or less will be raptured..the rapture is only for the pure devoted, spotless bride of Christ,...not the carnal, worldly christian

you mean this one? http://www.according2prophecy.org/macphers.html
people have opinions they tend to state as fact sometimes people need to state their research as I believe this by my study and here is what I have to back it up. this allows others to research their information ans make a conclusion of their own. I do not feel their is a huge amount of information on pre or post minimalism and all I can do is study the bible and hope. I do not want to live in those times so I tend to lean toward pre vs post. see where I am going? I do not know the answer to this question there is evidence of both so I use my own desires to base my opinion on. but I would never dogmaticaly say one way or the other God did not provide me with enough information to say one way or the other. and he has yet to reveal it to me.
obviously you will notice the website I provided is one that reveals the phalisy to his teachings. both are opinions and should be presented as such

Why worry about such a tiny peripheral issue.
The bible is the real cover up.
It was created to subvert the true teachings of Jesus by the Romans. The goal was to get control of the christian problem and change the teachings to something that the Romans found more acceptable.
It worked.

Thanks mainworry. I was just thinking about this. It bothers me that people will just believe something without studying the history behind the theory.

Send me a copy and I'll read it. I'm not stupid enough to waste my own money buying a copy.

They won't read it. Why would they read anything when the book they read has all the answers they could ever need?
