The Quran never said the earth is flat. the Quran is the only book that does NOT contradict with modern science but goes along with science. It was sent down by Allah 1400 years ago and for what you said the earth is flat and supported by 4 pillars is wrong. Allah says in the Quran " And there after we have made the earth egg shaped"(79:30)
The arabic word used there is 'dahahaa' which means to be spread out or egg shaped (referring to an ostrich egg) so one quran might say spread out and another might say egg shaped- but both are right

I see that you haven't read your Bible. And I admit that while the Bible is not a science book, it certainly has sound scientific principles which is contrary to your premise that the Bible COMPLETELY contradicts science.
To support my point, let me briefly give THREE instances in which the Bible was far ahead of science:
1. In the Old Testament, circumcision was commanded to be done on the EIGHT day after birth. Only within the last 40 years or so has science been able to say why. Here is the reason : When a baby is born, his ability to fight off pathogenic diseases begins to decrease while at the same time his blood-clotting ability begins to increase. Based on linear programming, the optimal time for circumcision is the EIGHT day. How does that contradict science?
2. The Bible states that fishes that do not have scales and fins are not good for human consumption. I'm not too sure that I understand all the science behind this but part of it has to do with osmosis and the absorption of salts into such fishes' body cells that make them unhealthy for human food. These fishes are also the scavengers of the sea. AND please note that the U.S. Navy has issued an advisory to its sailors that if ever they are stranded on an island and they have to eat fish, they should choose fish that , when caught from the sea, has fins and scales. You may want to take that up with the Pentagon.
3. In the science of meteorology, the Old Testament clearly shows the Water Cycle. This is basic junior high science.
These are just a few of the scientific principles found in the Bible.
I suppose that the conflict occurs in two areas : miracles and macroevolution. But then macroevolution is not science; it's philosophy. I know somebody will want to respond that macroevolution has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, and that there are tons of evidence. What ignorance! All the so-called evidence can fit into an average-size coffin with much room to spare (according to most evolutionists).

Where did you get your information, Was it from science, The more science tries to disprove Christiananity, the further they stick their own foot in their mouth, Yes Science does play a part in Creation, But they don't know it, The more they find, the more they prove Creation. Now as far as the earth being 4004 yrs. Old after man, that is wrong, it is 6000 yrs, As far as Islam teaches that the earth is flat, ask a muslum how come he has not fallen off the edge of the earth when they come to the USA, & as far as Hindu, They are correct to a certain point, this earth is Billions of yrs. Old, & yes I am a Christian. It is all there in the bible, There was a prehistoric time & a ice age time. Why did God tell Adam to REPLINISH the earth or to fill IT UP AGAIN. Shocking is it, NO, not if you know your bible.

search your heart when reading about biblical teachings. no mater what religion you are reading about, you will get a feeling if it is right or wrong, that would be the holy spirit talking to you. Remember, God created the heavens and earth in Six Days, on the Seventh day he Rested.
Science has also proved that carbon dating is way out of whack. I remember a test that they done about twenty years ago on an item that was only a couple months old and it showed to be one million years old.
one more thing, most religions follow the teachings of a person, i have found that out after deep studies as well, so search you heart, Pray before you start studding, during the study, and after. You will find what you are looking for if you are consistent.

There is absolutely no difference between religions and science. There cannot be because they both are the exact same language, only the words change from religion's "devil" into science's anti-particle and Black Holes.
Religions ignores the NOW to fabricate their veil-of-matter and science does the exact same thing by ignoring the universal equal-sign in ALL its formulas to create the same veil-of-matter religions un-NOW-ly calls its creation and science un-Equally calls its Universe.
The Supreme Comedy of this exact same veil-of-matter:
"When the Effort of twisting words and torturing text
avoids the Now
when the Now is all there is.
When the Effort of twisting numbers and torturing formulas
avoids the Universal equal-sign
when the equal-sign is all there is. "

because of the actuality Greek Orthodox Christianity got here approximately in the 1st century and being the 1st commonplace acknowledgers of Jesus Christ and his teachings and thank you to the actuality they instruct the actuality from the hot testomony, i'd say that being an Orthodox Christian is the closest to Christ than the different man made denomination. Mormonism teaches from a man made script that has no longer something to do with the bible and its teachings. study the terrific financial disaster in Revelation and then evaluate it to the Mormon faith. "Any be conscious taken faraway from this e book or further would be condemed to eternal damnation." That seems fantastically clean does it no longer? Serbian Orthodox Christian faith and comfortable with it! Kosovo is Serbia and don't enable every person say any distinctive.

Many of them believe because religion gives you a hope of something after death, science gives you decay after death. So many people are so terrified of death (and often by life) that they need these things to cling so they have something to go towards. I could be wrong, but this is the only thing I can figure it would be.

The Christian Bible does not state that the
earth is 6000 years old; it states that the earth is eons and eons old, and that there was an entire earth age before this one.
There is no controversy between the truth of Gods Word and true Science.
It's just that a group called "creationists" are Biblically illiterate, and think that because Genesis 1:1 is written, that it means what they are about to read is the creation of the earth; its not - its the rejuvination of the earth to ready it for flesh habitation.
The earth is even older than our great scientists think. The Bible tells me so.
You call the Word of God stupid, but its
obvious to me, that since you don't realize this, that you are also biblically illiterate,
so who's the "stupid" one????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Excellent rational question, but the answer you will get is that the devil created science to deceive those of ill faith to show the true believers to god will save their souls, or some such nonsense like that.
You cannot with with a logical argument with christians. I mean seriously.... how can you convince someone who believes in a "sky daddy" who watches over us that science is more logical & rational?! You can't, because they'll always find a way to circumvent logic with superstition & myth & "magic."

Biblical religions are all man made.
People tend to let their emotions get in the way and this screws things up.
The way that the bible is used it is the polar opposite of What Jesus taught.
