I think you're off the mark.

Muslims don't worship idols, nor do they worship their parents and so on and so forth.

They respect their parents, yes; but then so do all people of all other Faiths.

As for their Leaders, I've a Pakistani lady friend who's a Muslim and she calls her President - Gen. Musharraf - Mushy and says that he's a fool. So much for respecting "Leaders"!

Cheers!

I am not a Muslim, but they do not worship idols. They direct all their worship to a singular god they call Allah, which is an arabic word meaning god. From what I understand, their god does not have a personal name. Only his title.
You are confusing worship with respect, in the matter of parents and leaders.

I ought to believe you one the pass. this is only an merchandise, and it rather is different from Christians beleive that Jesus is now incarnated in each pass formed merchandise in the international. And Christians (or a minimum of a few) worship the pass. in the Catholic church, while they upward thrust from their pews, they kneel dealing with it, and pass themselves. Worship? close sufficient. it is likewise able to honor. As for the Kaaba, that development wasn't there in Muhammad's time, there become a distinctive one. The Black Stone become however. The Kaaba become merely the development that become placed over the spot the place Allah miraculously gave Abraham water from the nicely there. They face in direction of the Kaaba because of the fact dealing with any incorrect way would be praying in direction of some thing unholy and is for this reason idolatry, or a minimum of as my Muslim pal in Turkey defined it to me.

For the same reason that Catholics "worship" the Virgin Mary.

They don't worship parents, they honor them. Which is a part of most religions, even Christianity: "Honor thy mother and thy father."

Though to be honest the roots for those kinds of things are way back in history. You see in order to get people to convert to a new religion you have to appeal to them.

The appeal process is the same reason we have a Tree at Christmas. The Yule Tree is a PAGAN ritual and was incorporated into Christianity to make the transition easier for people.

The colored eggs at Easter are due to the fact that Easter was originally a Pagan fertility celebration.

And on and on and on...

So the "Worship" or the praising of that you are referring to is an incorporated factor of the transitional absorbtion of other religions over time. All religions have them, from Christianity to Muslim to Gaelic Druidism.

Huh?

Muslims do not worship idols. They show respect to their elders and leaders as is demanded in the quar'an. (you know, the ten commandments? they follow them too.)

Your questions shows a very decided lack of knowledge about islam, and muslims.
