i feel you have issues with your mother and converting to islam to make her mad is just plain stupid..i think you need to seek professional help

Islam is religion not an outfit you will wear it for few hours to make your mother angry about it....
i think you thought of yourself to be cool and funny by asking this Question but you only proved suffer from lack of respect to others religion...

If we went around trying to make people angry we would only be creating problems for ourselves. Do what you want to do and don't let people make you make decisions. You will only get more irritated. You are the one that has to live with yourself long after your parents are gone.

No. That's a lousy reason to convert to a religion. For that matter, it's a pretty lousy reason for doing anything.
A more adult approach is to decide what is important for you, and if mother likes it, fine. If mother doesn't, too bad for her.

It's wrong to join a religion just to make someone angry. You will be a hypocrite which is very far from being a quality.
You should find pleasure in honoring your parents, not in disturbing them and sadden them.

No. If you choose to convert from one religion to another, you should do it for yourself because that religion is right for you. You should NEVER do something just to make someone angry.
Regardless of which religion you choose, they all expect you to honor your parents.
