Buddhism doesn't do the whole 'conversion' thing which is actually very nice.

Hinduism doesn't convert either, since it considers all faiths a valid path to the Supreme Being. Buddhism is a philosophy which grew out from Hinduism. The Buddha was a life-long Hindu.

There is no conversion... Initiation is earned.

Edit: I think Buddhism is both 'religion' and 'philosophy'... at least based on the common definition of the words.

I'm a Pagan.
Pagans don't go converting people, but we are always happy to accept newcomers, so long as their intentions are right.

Yes, the members of the RCIA. The "Elect" and the "Candidates." It is always very heartwarming seeing them embrace our Catholic faith.
