Hi the best thing you can do is try and catch the cat going under the clothes line and either squirt it with the hose or get a spray bottle and spray water at it the cat will soon get the hint ,, good luck

Try using ground pepper under the clothes line. Cats sniff and scratch before they go. It won't hurt the cat - just very unpleasant! Kitty will go find another place to take care of business. Good Luck.

Maybe Put a litter box inside so he or she can go before going out side if u have a cat door make sure that u have a lock for it so u can place him on the litter box before he goes outside.

I'm pretty sure that this might help it will also give you more control over your pet!

There is a product called Boundary which can be purchased at Petsmart. Spread it around the boundary of your yard and it should take care of the problem.

You could always put a plant or plants around your garden called cat nip or something like that. Apparently cats hate them and so they dont like to hang around. Or perhaps get one of those pretend cats that just sit there and have those glass eyes that glow at night. Apparently meant to deter cats. I think there is also a spray out that you can spray around that area, but I cant remeber what it is called. Good Luck

I use mothballs. I know--I hate the smell, too, but they work.
