does anybody know if you can emigrate to australia from the uk and claim my husbands pension?

I think you mean Immigrate. Emigrating is when you leave a country.
You want to emigrate from the UK and you want to immigrate to Australia.
I suggest you talk to the Australian Government on this matter.

My mother was certainly able to claim an English pension after emigrating from the UK, I am sure your husband wil be able to do so.
