Many christians especially the born-agains are claiming that those who do not believe in Jesus as god and saviour will not be saved; meaning be thrown to the hell fire! If God is love as they keep on telling us, why would He put into fire the 3 billion people (and counting) who do not believe in Jesus as god and saviour? Is this fare? Can that be love? Roasting the poor souls even though they had a virtous way of life on earth?

The Bible says only the wicked and evil face judgment. There is not a passage in the bible ANYWHERE that says virtuous people will face punishment in Hell. Also, way to much has been made about the importance of "believing in Christ" that people are forgetting that Jesus taught us it is how we live and what we do that will determine how we are judged.

Hell is not for the purpose of eternal torture but to purge the wicked of their evil in the fire ( which is figurative, not a real fire) so that they will be made clean and ready to enter into God"s presence. The lake of fire is called the second death because it will destroy death and bring to life those who must suffer in it. That is why I believe Hell is not eternal in spite of what the mistranslated Bibles say. Some day all people will be with God forever. There are many bible verses which promise this. Jesus has saved all people. So yes, I can say it. GOD IS LOVE.

No one is thrown into hell fire. They choose to go that route by rejecting the only thing that can save their depraved minds. Hell is a place where God will not be and that is what those who reject Him want. They don't want to spend an eternity with God so they won't have to. That sounds pretty loving to me. You have a choice just like the rest of the world does. Just seeing creation and living in this nasty world is enough to prove to anyone that people are bad and they need something outside of themselves to stand before a holy God. Jesus is that covering and if you don't want it that's fine but don't blame God for allowing you to live an eternity without Him.

space: As a Christian, all I can say to you is that your premise for your question is CORRECT ! The problem lays in the bad theology flying around out there. Many religions preach that the NOW is the only time for salvation. This belief is not plausible - in error. All that this proves is that the Devil is winning more people than God has; therefore, Satan - the Devil is more powerful ! Any thinking individual can see that there is a Hugh HOLE in this line of thinking ! When you open your mind free of any and all preconceived ideas and read the Holy Bible, you can see that God tells a totally, different story ! you will find, that God is truly a God of love, Satan is not more powerful than God is, Jesus Christ is in the saving business and more importantly - all humans WIN in the very END !!! There is lots of dysfunctional religion out there and what you have written about what they proclaim is proof !!!

There was a revelation and Christians believe it. That revelation was God word as spoken through (not by) His prophets.

God tell us He is love. It is part of the revelation that God revealed Himself to us.

Also in the revelation is that God, not man, judges. So anyone judging anyone is not living in God's word.

By now you should know where God's word is recorded, and you would be better served to look there than listen elsewhere.

Rebekah, i'm sorry approximately your residing undertaking. that's actually perplexing, incredibly once you are trying to develop on your courting with the Lord. you need to submit to in suggestions that salvation is something which you in my view settle for. you could no longer "make" somebody settle for Christ. It must be their determination. For them to be unbelievers, and deny Christ is unlucky, and outcomes them perpetually. yet as I stated, it truly is a determination they ought to make on their very very own. As for the yelling, cursing, etc.... lots of it rather is in simple terms human beings no longer showing straightforward experience, or appreciate for others. have you ever tried telling them to tone it down? in case you have, and that they decline, then you definately've some judgements to make. God will supply you an "out" finally, and you will ought to locate different residing arrangements far off from the place you're on the instant. Ask God to tutor you the right thank you to try this, and the place to look. Your prayers for the salvation of yet somebody else is a powerful element. carry on with it. And be an occasion to them by the way you reside, no longer unavoidably by what you tell them. whilst they see adjustments in you, then per risk they are going to wish those adjustments for themselves. superb needs.

God judges the hearts of people. If they have heard about Jesus and reject Him then they reject the Father. If they have never heard of Him they have the opportunity to know God because God is very capable of introducing Himself if they are truly seeking. He loves them enough to spend their whole life trying to get their attention.

Hell is not the end God intends for anyone. God, however, will honor the choices people make in their lives. If they choose to reject God they will stand before Him and be judged by their choices. At that time they will know the fullness of what they rejected. However, their choice will be honored and they will spend eternity separated from God. They will also be fully aware of what they rejected.

God is constantly trying to help people see Him and offering the opportunity to choose Him.

No. God is a creation of the feeble human mind in a desperate effort to give life meaning. Get a grip and get on with it.

He is love, but he also gave us a choice to follow him. people just choose to not follow him, which leads to hell. we christians have made the choice to follow him and have eternal life. many people are confused by this. if ur christian, u'll get it.

People don't follow God because they don't like his rules and they don't want to obey him. they also don't want sin to exist because they reject the thought of being sinful or a bad person.
