if you tell your doctor about this they mostly will refer you to another specialist. Slightly chances are that they will put in the hospital and they will give you treatment first.

Don't tell your doctor. Just go to counseling and talk about it there and always think about talking about it to a close friend or your family. you don't really want to go to the phsyc ward do you? No don't think like that you are a good person and you need to think the same way about yourself. Talk to someone anyone that you know well.

If you tell your doctor these things, s/he will try to be helpful to you not harm you more. S/he will evaluate you to find out things such as how much you do it, how dangerous it is, if you have any plan or intent to kill yourself. And then your doctor would make a decision about what to do such as refer you to an appropriate specialist for treatment or suggest that you voluntarily check into a hospital program based on what s/he thinks is the severity of your problem. Your doctor would not involuntarily hospitalize you immediately unless you are actively suicidal or a serious danger to others--they can't because those are the only criteria for involuntary hospitalization. If you are hospitalized, they cannot hold you against your will without court proceedings. Hospitalization is not the worst thing that could happen to you. Killing yourself or hurting someone else are much worse.
Most likely, your doctor will refer you for treatment to a psych MD or to a psychotherapist for evaluation for treatment, which, if you are going to tell her/him, you obviously want help for what you are doing to yourself. This is an excellent way to get that help.

No sweetheart, you are not psychotic. Your doctor will only want to help you, and I urge you to tell him/her about this. Why do you think you want to die? It's safe to talk here, so don't be afraid to be honest. You are making the right decision by telling your doctor this...ok. You're showing great strength and I can tell you want to get better. Your doctor will most likely send you to a psychologist who will then ask you to talk about your problems...where the source of your pain comes from. What's wrong sweetie? You are so very young and deserve so many great things that this life has to offer! Email me anytime, with any questions at all. I had a troubled childhood as well and can relate to the feelings you have expressed here.
Wishing you well!

They will do what is best for your safety and that of those around you. If you do go to a psych ward, do not freak, as boring as it can be in there, most likely it will only be for a short time. Once you are out you will realise how beneficial your stay was.

Only if you go into their office acting all crazy and stuff. Just make an appt. and tell him/her what you just said and work with them. Maybe all you need is some med's to get you through whatever you are going through at this time. Also talk to your doctor about getting some counseling i.e. psychologist or psychiatrist. Do you go to church? If so talk to your preacher. Talk to your family. Just talk to someone who is a professional.

NO. the doctors and such cruel people, they will first put you on diagnostic therapy, before moving to put in the ward, which is unlikely.
