No the bible does not say this. Most of the bible is on the reader to interpret its meaning, and some people will distort passages to defend their biased viewpoints.

The Old Testament law commanded the Israelites not to engage in interracial marriage (Deuteronomy 7:3-4). The reason for this is that the Israelites would be led astray from God if they intermarried with idol worshippers, pagans, or heathens. A similar principle is laid out in the New Testament, but at a much different level: “Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14). Just as the Israelites (believers in the one true God) were commanded not to marry nonbelievers, so Christians (believers in the one true God) are commanded not to marry unbelievers. To answer this question specifically, no, the Bible does not say that interracial marriage is wrong.

A person should be judged by his or her character, not by skin color. All of us should be careful not to show favoritism to some, nor be prejudiced or racial to others (James 2:1-10, see especially verses 1 and 9). A Christian man or woman's standard for selecting a mate should always be to find out if the person they are interested in is a Christian (2 Corinthians 6:14), someone who is born again by faith in Jesus Christ (John 3:3-5). Faith in Christ, not skin color, is the Biblical standard for choosing a spouse. Interracial marriage is not a matter of right or wrong, but of wisdom, discernment, and prayer.

The only reason interracial marriage should be considered carefully is because of the difficulties a mixed-race couple may experience because others will have a hard time accepting them. Many interracial couples experience discrimination and ridicule, sometimes even from their own families. Some interracial couples experience difficulties when their children have skin tones of different shades from the parents and/or siblings. An interracial couple needs to take these things into consideration and be prepared for them, should they decide to marry. Again, though, the only Biblical restriction placed on whom a Christian can marry is whether the other person is a member of the Body of Christ.

Someone posted a passage they claimed condemned it. It is a lie, the passage has nothing to do with race...

Ezra 9:14 Suppose we don’t obey your commands again. And suppose we continue to get married to people who commit sins that you hate. If we do, you will be so angry with us that you will destroy us. You won’t leave us even a few people. You won’t leave anyone alive.

Ezra 9 DOES discuss "mixed marriage," BUT the focus is NOT about RACE but the idols which the peoples worshiped. The scriptures have ALWAYS frowned upon marriages between believers and non-believers. 1Corinthians 7 discusses this point extensively.

NO, the bible does not state that.

God did not want Israel to marry people of other nations since if they did so they would start worshipping other foreign gods and fall into sin.

The Bible does state that if we are Christian we are not to be unequally yoked with an unbeliever.

Other than that we are free to marry whomever we wish regardless of nationality or skin color.

According to the Bible, interracial marriage is a sin.

After all that has come upon us for our evil deeds and our great guilt-though you, our God, have made less of our sinfulness than it deserved and have allowed us to survive as we do-- shall we again violate your commandments by intermarrying with these abominable peoples? Would you not become so angered with us as to destroy us without remnant or survivor? O LORD, God of Israel, you are just; yet we have been spared, the remnant we are today. Here we are before you in our sins. Because of all this, we can no longer stand in your presence. (Ezra 9:13-15 NAB)

Sorry, but it is true.

I've not heard anything about that issue in the Bible, so I think if you feel that a person is one that you are committed to for life and they are committed to you, that is the person to marry regardless of their race.

No, it isn't in the Bible. God created all mankind equal, and God is not a racist. The Bible says we are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers though.

Read Numbers chapter 12. Moses married a Ethiopian woman who was of another race and God said Moses was faithful in all my wife. In other words, the Lord had no problem with it.

We are human,we are real,we exist..the bible is a work of fiction based upon fear to keep primitive people under control. Live your own life...you don't take "Mein Kampf" as a way of life do you? Both have a lot to answer for...

People read whatever they want into the bible, its too damned ambiguous to be taken seriously, and NO, it doesn't say that anywhere. in fact, Soloman had nubian concubines and wives.

edit, toshimas abominable people, weren't a different race, they were people who made human sacrifices and ate their enemies!
