It depends on the diagnosis. Did you just get it, or was the disease missed in prior check ups? Talk to your therapist about this. Good luck.

I'm not sure your diagnosis, but if it can't be cured it can be managed. It sounds like social anxiety, agoraphobia, racing thoughts....If you want to be different, attend therapy(group), and take medication prescribed by a doctor things can change. Medication alone will not work, you have to get to the root it all. A therapist will work with you and give you the tools needed to possibly change irrational beliefs. I too went through a spell that I wouldn't go anywhere and when I did I had panic attacks. I thought people were looking at me or thinking bad things about me. I hated people and was paranoid. I took medication and attended group therapy and found peace in myself and with my life. I have no regrets, because all of my experiences good or bad made me who I am and I like who I am as should you. Don't live up to the "label" you were given. You can be anyway you want if you want it and this is one more experience you have that others don't, you can use to help others someday.

if your doctor feels your illness is non organic, which by the sounds of things, is quite likely, then it is possible that you may be "cured". it will take some work on your part, and with the help of a psychologist, and perhaps some medication. there is a good chance that you can get back to normal, if it is a cognitive illness, or the way you think. it is also important to eat, sleep, and find ways to relieve stress for you mental health. you may not need to be on medication for the rest of your life, but some medication may be necessary, at first, so that you are feeling better so you can accept psychotherapy. psychotherapy has good results. you should first see a psychiatrist not not a GP, and the psychiatrist can refer you to the proper people. hope things get better for you good luck

This is really too vague.....it would depend. Typically they can not be "cured" but you can get treatments and lead a "normal" life depending on the diagnoses. I do not like labels but in order to answer your question I would need more details.......
There are many types of treatments available today...therapy along with many different medications and/or herbs and some go the complete Holistic way using only herbs and meditation.

Not to cure but you ca learn to cope with it and hopefully it will not affect your life soo much.
I suffered anxiety for years and although I still have it I am now nowhere near as sick as I was. I function normally and only get attackes every few months or so.
I am on medication and was seeing a psycologist which helped heaps.
Good luck

It really depends on what it is and how you got it. You didn't give enough information for a proper answer.

it matters what it is, i guess your best chances are to go to a psychologist.
