The symptoms are pretty obvious. An itchy rash of fluid filled bumps, that covers all or part of the body. Fever, body aches, loss of appetite, weakness, and fatigue may also accompany it.
There is not treatment. You just have to ride it out. You can apply topical lotions or creams to control the itching, take something like Tylenol or ibuprofen to control fever, drink plenty of fluids, and get plenty of rest. DO NOT scratch. It can leave permanent scars.

symptoms
Symptoms of chickenpox begin between 10 and 21 days after a person is exposed. The illness typically includes fever and a generally sick feeling. This is soon followed by itchy, red bumps that quickly become fluid-filled and are easily recognized as chickenpox. These skin blisters are round, about 5 millimeters to 10 millimeters across (about the size of a pencil eraser), with a red base. Sometimes, they are described as a "dew drop on a rose petal." They appear in various stages over the next few days and eventually crust over. These blisters may appear anywhere there is skin, even inside the mouth, throat or vagina. Some patients have only 50 blisters or fewer. Others have too many to count.
Expected Duration
Chickenpox blisters form over a period of 3 to 5 days and then crust over during the next 7 to 10 days.

Symptoms of chicken pox include :
children sometimes have a fever, headache, lack of appetite, and mild abdominal pain for 1 to 2 days
the rash typically appears first on a child's trunk, scalp, and face and consists of small, very itchy, flat red spots, which then turn into raised fluid filled vesicles, often described as looking like a 'dewdrop' that become cloudy and eventually crust over
the fever only lasts about 2 to 4 days
new 'crops' of the rash on the child's trunk and then arms and legs continue for about 4 days
all of the lesions are crusted over about 6 to 7 days after the illness began
the crusts then fall off in another 7 days, although it sometimes takes up to 20 days, usually without scarring

Symptoms of Childhood Illnesses
Chicken pox is a viral infection that is becoming less common because most children now receive the chicken pox vaccine.
Children who still get chicken pox typically develop symptoms about 10 to 21 days after being exposed to someone with chicken pox (the incubation period) or shingles (herpes zoster).
Symptoms of Chicken Pox
Symptoms of chicken pox include that:
children sometimes have a prodrome of fever, malaise, headache, lack of appetite, and mild abdominal pain for 1 to 2 days
the rash typically appears first on a child's trunk, scalp, and face and consists of small, very itchy, flat red spots, which then turn into raised fluid filled vesicles, often described as looking like a 'dewdrop' that become umbilicated and cloudy and eventually crust over
the fever only lasts about 2 to 4 days
new 'crops' of the rash on the child's trunk and then arms and legs continue for about 4 days
all of the lesions are crusted over about 6 to 7 days after the illness began
the crusts then fall off in another 7 days, although it sometimes takes up to 20 days, usually without scarring
Although not as common, children with chicken pox can also develop ulcers in their mouth.
More serious symptoms that might indicate a complication of chicken pox has developed include redness around the base of skin lesions, a cough and difficulty breathing, or any neurological symptoms, such as slurred speech, severe headache, vomiting, seizures, or trouble walking.

They may look like a pimple to start but develop into a round blister like sore. The do itch terribly, so you would definitely know if you have them.
