Some times we all need to step away from our adult selves, and let the inner child out.
If it means watching the disney channel, or dancing around the house or singing at the top of your lungs then so be it.
Enjoy and feel the fun children have, I bet your much more relaxed for doing this.
I know that when given the oppertunity I feel much better for being a kid for 5 mintues.
After all who said we have to be adults all the time.

What is this "inner child" bit? You're as young as you feel!!!!! I'm 61 and get off on Fantasia, Snow White, The Road Runner, Who Framed Roger Rabbit and the whole 9 yards. Animation is a totally awesome art form. Believe it or not I can obtusely groove on Sponge Bob. Especially like Brandy & Mr. Whiskers, Kim Possible and don't leave out Daria. What ever happened to Daria? Still have her posters in my recording studio, thank you. Don't like Anime' much. Worse than Hanna Barbarra if you get my drift. Too affected. The shadows under the noses and the eye treatments really gripe me. Any further questions? Oh, yeah, do I have an inner child? What inner child? I always thought that was me! Toodles!

Yes, but fortunately I also have kids. So I can sit on the swings at the park and not come across as a weirdo. I can do dressups and claim I'm just entertaining the kids. Can sit and watch cartoons and Disney - guilt free. Do I have an inner child - yes, and I let her come out to play as often as I can.
Sometimes I think she is the best part of me - joyful, hopeful and grateful.

Yeap, and the inner child loves playing video games. But I don't like the Disney Channel... I prefer Cartoon Network, lol.

We all do. Most can repress it too easily. Most of the "adult" world is contrived anyway, so your inner child is more of a reality than what we consider maturity. Think of it as a continuum. For some time periods you're the child, and others your the adult. In life we experience all things (we hope), and some things can only be experienced with the perspective of a child.

i still love to play barbies with my eight year old and i watch spnge bob all the time. i also like vegie tales and most disney cartoons. that is actually why i had kid so i could have an excuse to still play. it is a lot of fun. so i think that it is great to have an inner child and i am 30 and my husband also watches cartoons as well and loves to play with rc planes. most of my friends watch cartoons and they are all in their 30s. so it is totally cool that you do that and it is fun and if you are not allready a parent i think it means that you will be a good and fun one. just my thoughts

Yea it's okay, sounds pretty normal to me. I considered my self a kid at heart to because somethings I do to get laughs, my curiosity, and I don't feel like an adult. I enjoy some cartoons on Nick and Cartoon Network too bro and I'm 19yr old guy ;).

I'm 38 and I'm convinced when I'm 102 my favorite movie will be Jungle Book! I would much rather watch the animated movies.
I think as long as you can function as an adult and as long as you know when to BE an adult and when it's time to play and wonder and fantasize, you're just fine.
Yep, I have in inner child and I think she invited some others over for a sleep over! *laughs*

NEVER EVER grow up. Enjoy the cartoons and disney and be proud of it. I am not much for cartoons these days as the new ones don't do much for me but I love disney channel and all of the old cartoons, especially tweety and sylvester and bugs bunny. I am almost twcie your age so don't worry about it.

It's cool, as long as the inner kid is mature enough to take care of the essential adult things, like careers, kids, home-care, etc.
My inner kid got us a tattoo of Sesame Street's Ernie on our hip.
