Any resources out there can help my parents pay for medical bills?

My father got into a bad motorcycle accident last year, causing 50,000 worth of medical bill's they don't qualify for medical and didn't have medical insurance at the time. Is there any other resources the can get help to pay for the bills, he is a Vietnam Vet if that helps. Any advice would be appreciated? Thanks

I wish that was the case, but it isnt. He has a seasonal job his last one he had no medical insurance from it.

if he is a vet then the Veterans hospital will help him also contact the America Legion post in your area

Hi, don't know how was the full story of that accident, any other party involved in that case? if there is, whose fault in that case? who is the owner of the motorcycle? was ur father a authorized rider? any police report ?
if all the ans is YES and ur father was collided into by a third party vehicle, in this kind of cases , under the insurance clauses --- liability to third parties, that fellow's car insurance company should pay to the death or bodily injury, so u can try to find out which company they're using and submit all the claiment document to the insurance company, if the claim been rejected, you can go to the

Check with the VA, sometimes they know of ways to help. Otherwise, call the hospital where he was treated and ask for the social workers there, hospitals often have charities set up for cases like this.
