By all means, no! Skipping meals is never a good idea. You need food to keep your metabolism up. Breakfast is very very important and studies have shown that people that eat breakfast have a lower obesity level. You need breakfast for energy during the day. With my schedule, I almost never have breakfast until about 11, so I'm omg so lethargic in the morning. Having cereal when I wake up can easily change that.

When you wake up, your body is at its most catabolic. Insulin levels are really high, blood sugars low, and cortisol levels are at their highest. In this state, the body is retaining bodyfat the most and preventing, if not reducing, lean muscle mass growth. This is why breakfast really is the most important meal of the day.
Not only will your metabolism be low, you will not be able to perform as well mentally or physically. If you don't eat as soon as possible after waking up, you'll be behind the eight ball for pretty much the rest of the day.
Numerous studies have proven that eating more smaller portioned meals during the day is optimal for just about anyone.

Actually breakfast is supposed to be the most important meal. It's recommended that you at least eat something even if it's small since breakfast helps kickup your metabolism. When dieting, skipping breakfast could have negative effects.

no! breakfast is the most important meal of the day because you have gone the longest without eating.....What you eat for breakfast is very important....you don't want to load up on empty calories. a serving of oatmeal, a piece of fruit and a glass of milk is a good breakfast...and really it is better to eat 4 or five small meals during the day instead of eating 3 big meals.....

Why would you want to skip breakfast anyway. Breakfast food rocks! Biscuits and Gravy, pancakes, omelets, bacon, hash-browns. I'd never think of skipping it. I don't and never have had a weight problem though so I guess I've never needed to given the idea a second's worth of my time.

Hi, I don't think that would be such a good idea. I used to skip breakfast all the time and just recently I added it to my routine and I feel a million times better.

If you stop eating breakfast you will become fat becuz of the formation of gases inside your stomach. So the best way is to have oats, bread toast, etc. These are healthy foods and do not increase your weight.
