Hi y'all,

I'm having trouble making sense of the info on the web surrounding eating a natural diet. Can you safely remove red meat, milk and refined starch/sugars from your diet? What would you replace them with? What extra measures need to be taken in consideration of my 2year old's diet? I'm sure she'll be better off without sweets but what about milk?

All feedback appreciated, even the silly stuff ;o)

You can easily refuse meat, no problem. An adult can stop drinking milk, and a child older than two can probably do it too. It sounds like you're looking for a vegan diet. I'd try vegetarian first, and then move to vegan later. You may want to explore a macrobiotic diet, but I think that's too severe, especially for a child. There's lots to replace them with. You should get a good vegetarian cookbook and start with some recipes, don't do it all at once. Start adding more vegetables to your diet first.
