John 3:16; IN TIME WE ALL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE

Gen.1:1,2; All exist, time is not given. Job 38:30-32 [ Space ];
Gen.1:3-25; Earth is prepared [ it has to be thousands of years in God's time ], Job 38:4-7; Angels see earth prepared. Times and seasons for plant life is time man does identify with as Noah was in the ark 375 days, time of God already existed and his day to us means ages 2Pet.3:8;
John 17:3,5,24; Col.1:15-17; Rev.3:!2,14; Jesus is first creation created by God in the image of God.
Gen.1:26; God said."Let us make man in our image, after our likeness."
Man on planet earth is the world as a population. Job 37:12; John 3:16;
1Cor.15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
The world that ends is the one LOST from Eden and its world Empires, it is SAVED into Jesus kingdom of the heavens Rev.3:12; 21:1-5;
Isa.45:18; 65:!7; 66:1,22,23;
THE PROMISE OF A NEW HEAVENS AND A NEW EARTH.
Adam was made in a life sustaining earth to have eternal life, but he sinned.
2Pet.3:13; Rev.20:1-6,12,13; No Satan 1000 years, heavenly for new heavens with Jesus for earthly of new earth Rev.21:1-5;
For us to have eternal life, we have to have the heavens and the earth that was before the flood.

First, I am so sorry. I lost my mom 10 years ago, and I feel for you so much.

As for verses, hmmm.... my absolute end-of-my-rope passage is I Peter 1: 3 - 9. Also good is Phil 4: 7, and 2 Cor 1: 3-4.

Oh, yes, Revelation 21:4 : "He will wipe every tear from their eye..."

God is with you in this sorrowful time, as He is with you always. You may not be able to "feel" His presence, but He is there with you to comfort you. He knows your pain and He cares. I Pet 5: 7.

(Just FYI: when my mom died, I couldn't pray for the better part of a year -- it's not that I was angry with God, just that there didn't seem to be anything I could say to Him besides "I want my mama!" If you go through that too, it's normal. Don't freak out about it...God understands, He does.)

Sorry about your father. Leviticus 19:28 commands, "Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I know some will have a hard time receiving this teaching because tattooing has now become an accepted practice in our society. However, just because society approves of something does not make it right in God's eyes. Our society at large, also approves of abortion and divorce as well. However, the Bible makes it clear that God doesn't approve of these things.

2 Corinthians 1:

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

1 Corinthians 15:

51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
55 “ O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?”

John 14

1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

I'm so sorry to hear that you lost your mom. My dad is in the last stages of terminal cancer, so I understand how devastating this is. The only real comfort for me is knowing that he is saved, and his death will be very fleeting. He will leave this world and immediately will be in the presence of our heavenly Father. And I know he is not gone from me forever, there will be a reunion one day soon, not only with dad, but with all those I love who are now in heaven.
If you ask Him, God will comfort you and give you strength to get through your grief, and He will give you peace. I will pray for you too.
The Bible says this to believers: "But I do not want you to be ignorant brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus rose and died again, even so God will bring with him those who sleep in Jesus.
For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words."--1 Thess. 4:13-18

Eccl.9:5 states:"For the living are conscious that they will die,but as for the dead they are conscious of nothing at all."
Acts.24:15:"....there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous."
The Bible teaches that when we die we are not aware of anything,Jesus likened it to a sleep in the account of the death of his friend Lazarus(John11:11-14).And all those asleep in death remain in God's memory.At God's appointed time all those in the 'memorial tombs' will be resurrected.
You have the opportunity to see your mother again but you do need to take in accurate knowledge of God's Holy Word and then put that faith into practice.
John 17:3 - "This means everlasting life their taking in knowledge of you,the only true God,and of the one whom you sent forth,Jesus Christ."

Hi.
I have lost many family members through death, so I know of your sorrow. I like to remember that tho our lives seem long and drawn out, they are really but a moment compared to the eternity we will spend with our Father in heaven. Sometimes I think it helps to put eternity in perspective through a tangible visual aid. So, when I'm in a large parking lot, I take a dime out of my pocket and imagine that my whole life with all it's sorrows from birth til death can be placed onto it. My whole life span from start to finish fits onto the surface of this dime. I meditate on that for a minute as there are times my troubles seem huge in this life and there are times I feel as if I can't go on. After I've successfully imagined my entire life on the surface of this dime, I lean down and place the dime on the vast parking lot surface. That's when the perspective of eternity becomes more clear. For when I look down at my life on that tiny little dime, I say, "My life is contained on that tiny little dime, and compared to eternity (the vast parking lot around it) it is but a brief moment. My time here, on that tiny dime, is nothing compared to the eternity I will be spending with my loved ones in heaven! Eternity is even more vast than our dime-to-parking lot ratio!" I find that very comforting, don't you? For there are no more tears in eternity with our Father.
Here is the Bible verse that accompanies my illustration:
1 Cor 15:51-55
51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory."

55 "Where, O death , is your victory?
Where, O death , is your sting?"
NIV

My prayers are with you during this trying time.

John 14 and
2Co 5:6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
2Co 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
2Co 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

May I say you have my condolences.

"But when [this which is corruptible puts on incorruption and] this which is mortal puts on immortality, then the saying will take place that is written: "Death is swallowed up forever."  "Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?"" -- 1 Corinthians 15:54,55

"And the sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Ha′des gave up those dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds." -- Revelation 20:13

"Now if Christ is being preached that he has been raised up from the dead, how is it some among YOU say there is no resurrection of the dead? If, indeed, there is no resurrection of the dead, neither has Christ been raised up. But if Christ has not been raised up, our preaching is certainly in vain, and our faith is in vain. Moreover, we are also found false witnesses of God, because we have borne witness against God that he raised up the Christ, but whom he did not raise up if the dead are really not to be raised up. For if the dead are not to be raised up, neither has Christ been raised up. Further, if Christ has not been raised up, YOUR faith is useless; YOU are yet in YOUR sins. In fact, also, those who fell asleep [in death] in union with Christ perished. If in this life only we have hoped in Christ, we are of all men most to be pitied.
However, now Christ has been raised up from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep [in death].  For since death is through a man, resurrection of the dead is also through a man." -- 1Co 15:12-21.

“I have hope toward God . . . that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” -- Acts 24:15.

"And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." -- Revelation 21:4

Please read Psalm 23. When Jesus rose from the dead and ascended we are told that we will do the same thing someday. Know this---It isn't over. You WILL SEE HER AGAIN !! The next time you see her, she will no longer have cancer. She, you, everybody will be in perfect health. Perfect...mind, body and spirit. The next time you see her will last FOREVER. John 3:16 says a lot too.
