OK, well I met this dude at work a couple of years ago when we were working in Silicon Valley (San Jose, CA). We had really good jobs, and one day, the boss told us that the company (remains unnamed) is downsizing.

Well we both got fired and it really was sucks. So we had to sell our house (we had just bought one), and find a different source of income.

I thought a new path would be working in the country side, so we decided to sell everything and migrate to Gilroy and pick garlic, and spinich and help people sell it at the local fruit stands, etc.

Well we couldn't GeT Jobz bcs. they wer all taken by ILLEGALS.

What would Udo?

What action should I take?

Right on Mr. Malta: I mean, I can't get a menial job in this country these days. I can't even scrub a damn toilet if I don't speak Spanish.

Doode, you think this is a joke? I mean, I tried working at a garage, and they would only interview me in Spanish. I mean, look, I practically have a Ph.D. in Spanish but they didn't understand me because I spoke "Castillian Spanish" and not their mexi-maxi nonsense.

... And the guy who interviewed me was white! I can not believe this. I am outraged that you make a joke of this about this whatever mechanic. Tried that, didn't work.

Fact is, that happened to me too.

They told me, "you no pick fast, you go home. I'm like wtf!

I couldn't keep up with those slave laborers, those ba$tards can pick! They work like they like it.

So what am I suppose to do, starve because they are professionals?

They don't even belong here!

I hate this $hit!

Maybe pick crops for Seasonal basis BUT NOT full time.
U worked in Silicon Valley (Home to IT skills) Use those for Income.
Or learn new skills.
Unless U love fieldwork.
Yes Illegals do the farming in CA.
Get into some Skills
OR
1. Contact the UFW.
2. Freelance for farmhands.
3. work a Ranch.
4. Work dude ranch.
5. Seek Ag work in other states??
6. Get new skills
7. Update resume.
8. Start business??
9. Buy a franchise???
10. Go broke??

But try 12 hour days picking fruit First.
Then see what happens.

Have Fun.

Ouch my aching back & arms.

I know of someone who only hire ILLEGALS,because of their height and they work faster for a buck . This guy I know down the road has an automotive lift that is kinda broken at his shop and can only go so high before it stops short. Most Americana's that have worked at his shop have been 5'6' or taller, so when they are working under the lift bumping their heads, complaining & cussing all the time about not getting paid enough for this job the illegals on the other hand don't have a problem reaching up ,turning wrenches for half the price without complaining.

If I were you I would tan your skin brown, dye your hair brown, insert brown contacts in your eyes and pretend you know alittle english. Tell them you work good with your hands. Take a differant approach and fake it. I'm sure you will get hired then...

How did you know that all those jobs were taken by illegals? You didn't check the employees and find that they all had no paperwork.

If you are sure they are all illegals you can contact your nearest DHS (Department of Homeland Security) and report the company for hiring undocumented workers...

Nothing. You can report the business to the appropriate agency, but they will do nothing. The government has no interest in curbing illegal immigration, or enforcing the laws in our country concerning illegal immigration.

Call your US Representative and Senator, see if they give a damn.

It is a shame that these laws can not be enforced!
