Yes , at first i got sick at my stomach but that goes away after awhile . That was about it ! I think it helps in some ways for me! It depends on you and what your problem is i guess. I can tell a difference in some problem areas i was having and now don't really have them as bad. It helps you to deal with things alot better ! I still use it and have no problem with it ! I would be afraid not to because things could get worse if you don't take your medicine correctly! If your dealing with alot of problems it helps you to be able to deal with them, i think. Good luck if you try it, just remember you have to take it for awhile before you will see any improvement!! hang in there though, it can help !

You have to be very careful with any medication you take especially one for depression etc. If you are taking one of these medications you should be seeing a psychologist, someone who is closely watching you. I have never taken Lexapro, but I have taken other psychotropic meds and know some of the crazy stuff they can so. My brother-in-law was taking lexapro when he committed suicide. If you take this medication or any other, make sure to report all side effects to your doctor and if you are having suicidal thoughts call crisis.

i had no side effects, problem was i am bi-polar not suffering from major depression and the lexapro caused very quick cycling

I was on it for a month. For the first week I was sick to my stomach all day then that subsided. While I was on it I relentlessly teased my friends untill they cried or could not be around me anymore, and I didn't even care that I was hurting their feelings.
