OK Sam, you got me. I am not a Mormon but I live in a predominatly Mormon area and they do say they are right and everybody else is wrong. As a Mormon you can not lie about your churchs teachings and you know I am right.
The Mormon church is founded on events that have been proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt to be a fabrication and it is a well known fact that the founder of the church was a salesman and he lied to his congregation about his polygomous lifestyle until he got caught.
Do the research and find the truth for yourself.
Read a book called "Under The Banner Of Heaven" for a clear and unbiased history of the Mormons.

You can not be serious! (Trolling?)

No true Mormon would ever say that another religion is wrong.

LDS Member since 1996

Apparently you have not researched all the facts or seen all the facts that I as a member of the Church am entitled. I have access to documents going back to the foundation of the religion and the person you are speaking of was a Farmer not a Salesman who had only one wife at the time of his death when he was murdered in a jail cell because of his beliefs.

Jesus was a Carpenter so what is the point?

The founder of the LDS Church was murdered just as Christ was murdered, They were murdered for their faith and beliefs.

Do you know who founded the Church? Do you know when it was Founded? Where? Do you know the name of the Founders wife?

The gloves are off Bucky and I am a prize Fighter when it come to faith!

Now since you have clearly stated in this Forum that you are not a Mormon when post "As a Mormon" that clearly violates the Yahoo Community Guidelines #15 specifically in the Don'ts - Impersonate a third party, or participate as anything or anybody other than yourself.

Hum what to do........

And the Mormons wonder why their church is looked down upon! This kind of condescending drivel comes out from the church members but usually it is more subtle than this.
Have you heard of Pascal's wager for Mormons? Have a look at where you are and where you will be in the Mormon church. Have a look at where you would place me?
Have a look at where the historical Christian church where we both would wind up. Who has the most to lose if the other is wrong?

I like your confidence, it made me laugh.

I know I am right, and I know I created my own ideas, my own belief structure.

You do have my attention, though. I will look into Mormonism. I am sure that I will not become a mormon, because I am not in any form christian, but I do want to find out more about what you believe.

No one who understood Mormon theology or culture would ever write somethig like this.

Firstly, Mormon believe that veryone who leads a good life has an opprtunity after death to accept the truth, and ascend to a higer level of existence after death. Momons are not part of the whole "saved" dogma that s part of most evangelical Christianty.

Secondly,Mormons have being humble in your faith beaten into them from a very young age.

Organized religion, whether sophisticated or primitive, always require some element of the fantastic to generate 'faith'. Many of these organized believers have also demand the rest of the world needs conversion so everyone conforms, and are either savagely aggressive (early christian & muslim) or simply annoying (hari krishnas, and you-know-who).
Anyway, you lost a significant opportunity to engage in meaningful and intelligent dialog on a subject that is so damn interesting by posting a baiting question.

I don't believe that Mormon theology is biblically accurate. I also doubt you're a Mormon. Even though I don't agree with their doctrine, I've never heard a Mormon state something as rudely and you just did.

And yet yesterday you were asking how to get rid of mormon missionaries. I'll believe you are mormon if you can tell me the real name of the mormon church and tell me the 13 articles of faith.
