I want to get a big screen around 60 to 80 inches. I am thinking of getting a projector with a throw distance of around 2:1. Would it be possible to use the projector in a distance of 6 feet and get an image at least 40-50 inches in size.

Also, would there be screen door effects or other such problems when viewing at such a small distance. (6 feet)

I know I could get a 42 inch tv when taking into account the limited distance I have for display, but that would still end up costing much more than the projector that I plan to purchase. Besides, projectors are so much cooler than tv's......

I would go and buy a nice 42" plasma. Sure, it might cost more initially, but when you take into account the cost of replacing the lamp in the projector every 1000-2000 hours at at least $500 bucks a go, the plasma is definately the smarter choice. The projector is going to be noisier as well, back when I had a projector the sound of the fan whiring away used to bug me. You're going to have a much nicer image on a plasma as well, for a start it has true black, not the white wall you are viewing it on. I reckon any projector is going to be too bright at that size image anyway, they are usually designed to produce a screen size in excess of 80 inches.

perchance you're able to be able to get a brighter duvet in purple or orange and you gets concerns like fabric wall hangings and dream catchers to make it look cool. I additionally hit upon that fairy lighting fixtures and collages look properly too. My room has lime green partitions in spite of the undeniable fact that I in simple terms stick photographs, posters and wall hangings on them. XD
