Of all the SSRIs, Lexapro has the least impact on a person's libido. It hardly affected mine at all. However, Wellbutrin (different kind of antidepressant, an SNRI) kicked my sex drive into high gear. I miss it - LIKE WHOA!

Some of the anxiety/antidepressants do have reproductive effects. One I tried didn't take my orgasm away, but it did make it much harder to get there. So, I brought this up to my doc and we switched meds. There's nothing to worry about; if the med you're going to try (Lexapro) causes you probs, just bring it up to your doc and he/she will be able to work with you to find one that works for you.

It doesn't. I have been on Lexapro for 2 years now. It hasn't affected my orgasms at all.

I've been fine. It was Zoloft that ruined it for me. No probs with Lexapro. I'm on 30mgs.

It depends on the individual. For some it does.
