When you know you've found The One, do you just know and do anything to make them happy?

Because I thought I found "The One" - my god, I pined for this girl two years back - then I eventually just let the whole thing go to shi-t. Now we've broken, completely my fault, and I'm wondering what the heck happened. Im 25 shes 30, perhaps were at different stages?

Prehaps there is no such thing as "THE ONE", lol. Their isn't, yea hallmark wouldn't like you to hear that, but its true. It doesn't work that way. We all can love, I don't know who got it in there head that because we love someone that means there magically the one, its just a fool's idea. Its that brain that screw'd you both out of the relationship thou. We can love all things, but that doesn't mean are brains won't beat us up about it... maybe its time for you to think about why your brain made it so hard on you, or accept that maybe her's made it hard on her.... and move on the age differents was to big anyways so it would seem you might of been the one beating yourself up, because your brain was like "Yea I know you love her, but she's 30! man come on you can do better" if not then I have no clue what happen'd To much sex and not enough relating?
