no not really look at them as another source of information and if you are a believer as one more reason to study your bible diligently so you can answer their questions with knowledge. as far as the trollers. people who try to anger you it is sometimes best just to say a kind word to them. getting angry and responding with anger only bolsters their belief that we are hypocrites. use what God gave you to strengthen you and remember God can defend himself its not our job.

BOO!
You must really scare easily.
Look, if you want to believe in a fantasy, that is entirely up to you.
There are millions of people on this planet who don't believe in the same fantasy and more than you think who don't believe in any fantasy at all.
The drug of religion is that so many are weak and need the 'high' of the promise of an after-life. These people are addicted. There is a cure.
Scary? If you have doubts about your chosen fantasy, I can understand that you would be scared. Scared of being convinced that your god is really a fabrication by ancient man, just as all gods in the past have been man-made?
I can understand that.
Believing in your god is not compulsory. In fact, to do so is an anomaly, as there are more people on this earth who do not. Wow! Isn't that scary?

Disturbing yes, scary? No. I actually enjoy reading some of the more intelligent atheists answers, but then you see so MANY are so hateful, and it makes you wonder WHAT is missing inside them that they feel the need to HATE others enough to insult them so much? And then I realize, without them even knowing or understanding, they are actually proving what GOD has told us to take a side on. You can worship GOD or you can worship the one who opposes God the most, and his name is Satan. Also, I wish the atheists would realize that even people that love God need to examine their so called "religion" to make sure it is NOT a false teaching. But to say EVERY religion is wrong or corrupt is turning a blind eye to the whole concept of God entirely, and who do we know of that would like us to do that??? I'm not saying atheists worship Satan either, but some of them sure do represent him real well.

sweet: Excellent question ! From my perspective, I can see that the "stage" is being set for a great persecution against anything, which declares it self separate from the common trends and thoughts of todays society. This was prophesied to occur as our society becomes more steeped into SELF. Remember; God "calls" or "draws" those He wants to have a relationship with Him ( John 6th chapter, verse 44) . God fore knew His "elect", would be greatly persecuted and even, murdered for their allegiance to Him. North America is in the demise phase of its grip on world power. This is characteristic of its lack of acceptance for a Devine Creator - thus, no more "absolutes". We are at a time in our history where "each does what is right in his own, eyes". We have become, therefore, morally and spiritually bankrupt with the expectation of evil to embrace our society in general. This is why crime, drug addiction and anti-good sediments are fast becoming the rule rather than, the exception.

We will Preach the Gospel to all the World--then we will get outta here.
What is so scary about that?

FreeWill.

You are not accountable to anybody but Jesus, when it comes to Preaching the Gospel, and You Definitely ARE NOT ACCOUNTABLE for what Other People do with there FREEWILL--whether they Believe that they have a Freewill or not.

Refreshing, isn't it?
Take a load off, Thank GOD that You are Saved!
Ditto.............

If you find it scary, then you have had a very unfortunate and sheltered upbringing. As well, you obviously have a weak hold on your faith. Perhaps you should stay at home and hide behind your mommy, where you will not be so scared, and you can get plenty of reassurance in your faith from her.

What's to believe? I find it odd, if not scary, that some people believe in an invisible God. What else invisible do you believe in?..

You know, I would not call it scary, as there are so many of us that do believe in God, but I also can understand where the people who do not believe, are coming from. People have gone through many hardships, loss, anger, poverty, homelessness, everything, and have never been given a chance. You give up believing after awhile, because no prayers get answered. You can not see God, he does not talk to us, so why believe? At one point, in everybody's life, they will understand, that there is a higher power if you will, and sometimes it takes a long time to discover this.Religion has created more wars than anybody, and they are still fighting as to who's God is the right one. Religion has created conflict, amongst everybody, because we all have different faiths. The Catholics say they are right, the Jewish people have their beliefs, the protestants, methodist, etc. etc. are all different, WHY?You see, religion can be very confusing to a lot of people, but if people are good, and live true and honest, we are not perfect of course, God will, take care of us. When it comes to the end of our lives, some people will not believe what they will see, as God is always there for us. He lives in all of us, but we have to go through the test of life to prove ourselves. I do not go to church, as I do not have to pay to pray to God. He is everywhere, and he never asked for payment, just believe, and I will take care of you. My church is mother nature, where I pray to God everyday, and he has never let me down yet. When people can just open up their hearts to God, they will see.

not in the least, since there is no God - it's nice to see that more and more people are embracing the true reality..man is responsible for his own destiny and anyone that believe in God needs their head examined by a trained professional

No - why would that be scary?

Many of those who don't believe in God find the ones that do irrational things in God's name to be scary.

Not scary, but interesting in that the numbers are really disproportionate to the general population on earth and in heaven!
