My sisters and I go on a diet for this past few weeks, they are losing weight so fast as if they lose for a day 2 to 3 pounds and me I only lose a pound and sometimes none. I always workout every morning to lose 30 to 50 calories but still I lose a little, they are a little bigger than me and still I'm the loser in losing weight. What shall I do?

if you lose more than 1-2lbs a week- its water weight and muscle NOT fat.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

Just an FYI, I don't have a nutrition degree or anything, but I am working on my masters in nutrition and I have gone threw weight loss myself. I lost 50 pounds in 2 years and every day is a constant struggle to even maintain. The most important thing I have learned about losing weight and myself is that there is no such thing as a 'diet.' However you are eating now, you'll have to eat that way FOREVER in order to maintain. You have to make a life long change or you'll never keep the weight off.

My best advice is to spend the bucks get your metabolism tested. It's called BMR - basal metabolic rate. Because you may have a very slow metabolism and may need to work out even more to create that calorie deficit, in order to lose weight.

And the most successful weight loss is also a slow weight loss. Nothing more than .5 to 1 lb a week.

Everyone is different. Everyone loses weight differently. You can't compare yourself to your sisters because you may just get even more discouraged.

Just take it 1 day at a time and definitely don't deprive yourself of your favorite foods. If you want a pizza, have pizza, just portion control and keep your metabolism going by eating several small meals through out the day. 200-300 calories 5 times a day, every 3 hours.

I hope that helps. Good luck!

You have to cut 3500 calories to lose one pound. So it takes a long time. I used to go to weight watchers and they said a healthy loss is 1/2 to 2 pounds a week. If you lose it slower it will stay off better because you are changing your habits.
The less weight you have to lose, the less you can eat because your body uses less calories to stay alive.
A person who weighs 200 pounds probably could eat 2000 calories and lose weight. But it takes at least 1200 calories a day for anybody's normal daily functions. So don't do any less than that.

Try 2 tbls. of heinz apple cider vinegar in a glass of water 2-3 x day. Vinegar has 93 vitamins and minerals so you will lose weight. When you do not take the vinegar, the body will think it is starving so it will slow down the metabolism. Vinegar will make you feel full, but with less food so the pounds and inches come off. Still keep the exercise work-out. Hair and nails will grow long and strong too.

People who are "heavier" than other people lose weight quicker. And a workout to lose 30 to 50 cals is nothing. Do something a little bit more extreme, but DON'T OVERDO IT. Try for at least 250 a day, but make sure that you continue to eat your minimum of 1500-2000 cals a day.
