I put in finely chopped onions, green peppers, Italian seasoned breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, one egg, and ketchup.
After forming it into a loaf, I coat the top with more ketchup for a nice glaze, and lay bacon strips along the top before I bake it.

1 egg with just enough bread crumbs to make it pasty. I add general seasonings to taste -- parsley, onion powder, garlic powder -- whatever you enjoy. I use a can of tomato sauce on top and sprinkle with paprika.

For a change of pace my mother would sometimes place a hard boiled egg into the center of the raw meat prior to cooking. It looked kind of cool when sliced.

If I can, I use some ground pork with the ground beef. I don't always find ground pork, so omit it most of the time. I add bread crumbs made from stale bread, a spoonful of mustard like you put on sandwiches and a couple of tablespoons of catsup. I add a couple of eggs and mix it all together. Sometimes I add diced onion or green pepper.

Put butter in top of double boiler. When butter is melted, add flour
to form a roux, then add wine, buttermilk and mustard. Stir until
