it's a lovely thought.
but no, when your nose itches, it means that an allergen has infiltrated your nasal membranes.
that being said, i still toss salt over my shoulder, kiss my cross,
and NEVER put shoes on a table.hey, i'm irish!

dose ones ears ringing mean some one is talking about you? I know you asked about your nose itching meaning that and am not being sarcastic, butt adding a simular question that asks the same question. There is truth that we humanly have psychological connections with others and spiritual connections with all humaniy, bt it dose not mean every time your nose itches or you hear ringing in your ears that you are recievinga psychic phenomina called preminition. You probably do get psychic intuitions and your nose might be a medium of preminition of someone talking about you; but the key is not the medium nor what peoples negitivity is but what is the illumination or lesson that your intuition is telling you. It is the yellow flag that says you may want to be more close and open with that person you think is talking about you or a wrning that you should stay away, yellow flags are caution to say be careful. Red flags like fealing or knowing there is danger mean stop and leave. The flight in conflict is preservation to where at least if after exploring all other options your have or feal you have no choice then you will be better able to fight intelleually than violently.

not that i believe any of that stuff, but the way i heard it, growing up in maine, was an itchy nose meant you were going to fight-ears burning meant someone was talking about you, itchy palms meant you were going to get some money, and if the clasp of a necklace or the back of a ring was facing forward, someone was thinking about you

You honestly believe that? It's just something some parents tell their kids to make them feel good.

I've heard it all sorts of ways...
"When you sneeze... someone's thinking of you."
"When you hiccup... someone's thinking of you."

It's nothing new. It's just a way for parents to make kids feel good.

It is also a good way to help children through the grieving process after the loss of a loved one. It helps to tell them that when something itches, or they sneeze, or they hiccup, that the person they miss is thinking of them because it keeps them remembering that person. Also, it helps the kids understand that just because you can't see or touch the person, it doesn't mean that their memory fades from your heart as well.

:o)

When your nose itches, it means that an ax-wielding homocidal maniac is stalking you, and will strike some time very soon.
