Before answering the question you have to decide if he was human or a God? All people had to be removed from the cross by 6p.m. for religious reasons. If they were still alive at that time then they would be killed by having their legs broken.
If you notice on the pictures some of them show blocks of wood beneath Jesus' feet and this would have applied to all the others. These blocks of wood supported the body's weight, and when the legs were broken, the body collapsed and compressed the lungs so that the person could not breathe. When they nailed a person to the cross they had to bind the wrists to the cross as well because... They would be nailed to the cross whilst laying on the ground. When the cross was picked up and dropped into its pit, it would drop with a thud and the shock would break and dislocate many bones. If they were not tied, the shock would have torn the nails through the flesh. So, how long would he have lived? How long is a piece of string?
If you believe that he was a God, How do you kill a God? You cannot and it had been prophetised that none of his bones would be broken. But the Bible tells you in Math.27v 50 that at about the 9th hour (3 p. m. ) that Jesus gave up the ghost.
So He took seconds to die after he had suffered enough to pay for our sins.
I would imagine that after all that he had been through he would have been dehydrated on the cross and did not need to urinate

Some theologians and biblical scholars have calculated that Jesus was on the cross for about 3 hours before He died. He had been scourged/whipped with a leather and steal whip, punched, kicked, had a thorny crown thrust upon his head, and made to walk bleeding, thirsty, and weak for a long distance before being crucified. I'm inclined to believe that it would only take 3 hours for anyone to die after going through all of that. Oh but I am so glad that in 3 days he arose!

If I recall correctly, a healthy person could survive for a day or so on a cross. But Jesus had recieved a multiple beatings and a flogging beforehand so he was in really poor shape when he was put up there. I believe the Bible says he lasted 9 hours.

It probably took Jesus a number of hours to die on the cross and as his body shut down all his organs would have too, so yes his bodily functions would have let go. They do that when you die whether on a cross or in a hospital bed. I know I've seen people die.

Jesus hung for 3 hours before expiring.
It can be safely assumed God would take care of all matters to keep things dignified.
