I am in Holiness and I believe women should be modest, not wearing anything pertaining to a man, virtous, and lovers of God, obedient to their husbands and such. I don't celebrate certain holidays because of paganism...etc.
My boyfriend is a Baptist and he is a Christian as well, it's just certain things he does in his religion I don't. Will this cause future problems (down the rode to marriage)?
I don't want to be unhappy in my marriage, niether do I want him dissatified... I also don't want to confuse my children. What do I do. We both love each other very much, are still virgins, and plan on marriage?

inter faith relations can work but it takes you both to work at it. respect eachother and grow with one another. when it comes to children you will both need to decide upon this together, what is the best way to raise them etc....and you will need to be prepared to answer the questions like "why does mommy not do this/do this and daddy does/doesn't etc........... it can work take your time to make sure it is what you both want. good luck and hope it works out for you.

It all sounds pretty good. Some premarital counseling would always be a good idea for you guys. But one of the many compromises you guys will have to make is going to be what church you go to.

I know when my wife and I got married, we prayed together that we find a good church to worship God. She used to be Episcopalian but once she started going to Church of Christ, she never looked back. The point is we were focused on God and found the church that best represented the principles in the NT. I would encourage you guys to pray about it and find a church together that best represents the direction you want to take you future family whether it be non-denom or baptist. But the important thing is to go to the same church and not play games or you WILL confuse your children and the family will be divided.

While I believe that certain religions are compatible, I am not convinced that a pagan should marry a Christian. It is not like a Baptist or Unitarian marrying a Jew, or a Buddhist marrying a Christian. It is not a legitimate religion or spiritual philosophy.

If your religion requires that you observe certain customs, that your potential spouse does not share then you need to be honest with yourself and your potential partner. All religions are the constructs of men, and if you chose to adhere to those customs, then be true to that.

On the other hand, God does not require anything of us, other than to be who we are. God created us all just as we are, and it's really up to us to decide to be less than we were made to be.

In the end, we'll all be called to account for the opportunities and gifts we were given in life, but chose to eschew because of our "religion". May God forgive you for denying those gifts.
