i am trying to work out how many kilojoules i should eat a day to lose weight but i have just totally confused myself!! If i want to lose 5kgs and i go to the gym and do 40 minutes of fast walking and 20 mins of light weights 5 times a week, will i put on, lose or stay the same weight if i am eating approx 6000kj a day?? (1400cal)

oh stop, u dont need to lose weight. your perfectly normal!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

They have a free food tracker and can also calculate all of that for you, just by putting your information in. the website is 100% free and I use it myself.

Frankly though, your Body Mass Index is in the perfectly healthy range and I wouldn't think you'd need to lose anything.

omg i hate people from other countries, i can never understand how tall they are or how much they weigh
