Im 5'4", shoulder length brown wavey hair, and wear glasses. Im getting contacts this weekend and Im interested in cutting and dying my hair, getting contacts ( like i said) and hopefully getting a new hair straightener. Guys, what hair color and style do you like in a girl....im kind of trying to impress this guy... but girls can help to! Any advise?

I REALLY like girls with glasses. As long as your hair looks clean. Colour doesn’t matter. Really, I’m not sure WHAT the other guy likes, but if you have to change your appearance DRASTICALLY to impress a guy then I doubt the guy is worth it.
As for your physical appearance like a haircut or less make-up maybe you need to get with the hairstylist etc.. too change that.
Just be your self to attract someone that likes you for being you.
Attitude is what you might want to take a look at. To change your attitude it will cost you nothing. Flirt a little, guys like to be fussed over and to have their clothing fixed. Like straighten his collar, tuck his tag on his shirt, mess with his shirt pocket, or something like that….
If he wears jewelry you can mess with that…
You need to project yourself to attract you personality. Do not hold your hands in front of you in a crossed arm position. That shows, “Don’t mess with me. Stand back.”
Guys also like it if you draw on them... If you sit close to him then you could take a marker and write your phone number on the back of his hand.. Maybe other little characters....

If you want to change your look, do it slowly over time. Develop a trademark look. I know all too well the pressure in trying to impress the opposite sex, but think of this- you don't really know what he likes or dislikes. That's whats so futile in this game. It's so important to just be the best YOU you can be. Great, have fun and try new hairstyles, colors. Maybe you can just get some fun new hair accessories, bright colored scarves and head bands are popular now. I bought some big hoop earings and wore my hair up today. The guys at work seemed to like the mod look. It's fun look. Look in magazines for different styles and shop around in second hand stores- they usually have some interesting clothes in pretty good shape and the prices are definitely right. Good luck. That's great you're getting contacts this weekend* :) and about your hair....each guy likes different kinds of hair, some guys don't care what the hair color is ,as girls often dye their hair different colors all the time...it's what's inside that counts*~ Ask your hairdresser what she could recommend for your type of hair and how you want to use a hair straightner ..she will suggest what style would suit your face and hair texture*~
Work on what's inside tho...be yourself...happy, go lucky, helpful, friendly, ...you want him to notice you..the new hairstyle and no glasses will definately be a major outter change that everyone will notice and comment about..how great you look etc.......show them you're even better on the Inside*

Sounds to me like your doing a full blown make over. Thats like me, I use to have a ponytail but I cut it and now I have a fade that I maintain neatly. I wore these big glasses now I have the contacts. I use to have a gap so I got verneers(false teeth). I did all of this in like 5 wks. Girls definently notice me now. I'm a junior in high school, I say if you think changing your appearence will draw him to you then do it, lifes to short not to, you said like a cute girl anyway. The girl I'm talking to NEVER dresses nice at all, not to brag but I'm one of the best dressers at my school. The way a girl dresses has nothing to do with anything. It's all about the way she carries herself, personility, and looks. So I couldn't tell you the hair style to choose it's your head do what YOU want! God Bless You.

My advice is to be happy with what you have and get a flattering cut for your hair type. a dye job is just a lot of upkeep and so is a hair straightener. For all you know, some guy is just ga-ga over you the way you are now...he might be disappointed to see such a drastic change.

i'd hate to go cliche on you but guys should like you for who you are not for the person you are dressed up to be... but to answer you're question guys like a girl with a great bod, so working out would be a great way to impress him....
