It would mean something like "Against bad luck" or "Against misfortune" ..but it really depends a little bit on in what kind of sentence it's used.

Tegen = Against

Pech = bad luck, but it can also mean 'car trouble' for example.

lol, pronounced...ehhh..let's see. the "g" and the "ch" are pronounced as a hard, rolling G. I don't think you have that sound in an English word. It's something like the sound you make when you scrape your throat, right before you spit. Lol, i hardly can explain.

Tay-gen Peg .....and the "e" is pronounced as the "a" in and.

The actual words are 'tegen pest' pronounced as
'tegen pesh' in colloquil Dutch. It means
