Native Americans changed names throughout their lifetimes. The names were always attached to something in nature or events. Pick something from nature--let's say--Quiet Fawn--then access a cross over dictionary from the tribal Language you wish to use.

That's how I named my 4 month old son. My wife started seeing a lot of young deer on her way to work every day before she knew she was pregnant (I kept telling her she was, and she didn't believe me LOL). Deer are strong medicine, so that's how I named him. Pmossamek Nolka which stands for Walking Deer in my tribe's language.
