Pretty simple answer really. If you don't like what the Military is doing, get out!!! Resign. Every branch of the military is a VOLUNTEER force and there is no draft, so your child can get another job in civilian life if the job is too stressful. Clinton reduced our military by about 100,000 and if we haven't the ability or the nerve to win in Iraq or Afghanistan, how do you think this same military will defend a country and population the size of the USA when the war is being fought here?

Remember this next election.

I have Emailed Arlan Spector many times, but he never emails me back. I can't imagine why not.

I salute you and your son.

PS Ever hear this poem,

God and the soldier we adore,
In times of elections, not before,
When elections' over or wrong is righted,
God's forgotten and the soldier slighted.

The only way is for every person who can vote and I mean everyone, that will send a message to washington that we are listening and want our country back.

From a Army mom, I agree!!..

Our troops aren't just losing, we all lose.. And if they weren't so busy pointing fingers we wouldn't being wasting the lives who are trying to insure our way of life and those of other countries who hate us..

Good question MOM..

Best way I know is to speak out, write letters, protest. That's how change happens. Cause a ripple in the placid waters of complacency. I hope your son comes home safely. And soon.

as a start everyone needs to let their voices be heard..send telegrams to congress members...senators and the president...tell them what problems you want remedied...offer solutions...demand swift resolute actions....support those who mirror your positions...let's attempt to make our government reflect the will of the people and for the people as well as by the people...I know things are as bad as they've ever been...but we as a nation can save it...

Write your congressmen and senator.
Organize others who fell as you (my mother is one (my bro is in Iraq)) and call attention to yourselves.
Vote the bums outta office for supporting the war (either party here...some Dems voted for it too....)
