The west is at war with the Islamic countries and has been for a fair while now. Not just the US, but pretty much all the western countries.
Then, suddenly along comes this rumor that Islam is becoming the strongest and most powerful religion in the world with ever exponentially increasing numbers. Its disturbing everyone but the Christians seem incesantly obsessed and disturbed about it.
Does it not seem obvious to you that this is a propaganda attempt to destroy the moral of the western nations by, scaring the hell out of them, by the Islamic nations in retaliation for this war?
After all, its become extremely obvious that they can't win through force of arms so they're trying a different tactic. Kind of like what happened in WW1, and WW2.
They're scaring you and making it harder for you to fight because you're so concerned about the infiltration of the Muslim ideal into society that you're ignoring the thing that really matters, war with another nation.

If you Christians stopped freaking out about it so much, they'd lose much of their power and it would die off.

If it doesn't freak you out, then why do people continually, obsessively, ask questions about it?

Theophilus, if all you can do is post quotes from the bible and not give a real answer, then apparently you have nothing to say. How about you delete all that gibberish and actually answer the question I asked?

I think it's all propaganda. Our own government scares us into thinking is about religion or ideals or way of life - when it is about oil and their profits. Frankly, if the religious right is getting upset about propaganda coming from Islam, they need to be reminded that they have been using exactly the same tactic to try to steamroll America into a Christian Nation.
The thing that really matters is the civilians (families) that have to live there and try to stay out of the way and alive as best they can. The thing that really matter is that our young men are being killed over there, so this administration can cash in or steal resources for America - instead of working on fuel efficency. It's madness.
Peace!

You're partially correct.
This is bin Laden's war and he started it prematurely.
From my point of the view Islam was intentfully encouraging people to immigrat, start Islamic areas, try and bring in Islamic courts and build numbers up, even get into elections.
Let's look at the LONG RANGE picture.
It is hinted OIL runs out in 200-400 years and that is the MAJOR export of Islam. Islam has more Oil than does Russia. Islam has more oil then does Venezuela. Islam has more oil then Mexico. Islam has more oil than Alaska, Texas and California.
Now, they also hold a grudge over Judaism and Christianity going back to Mecca and Muhammad who go ran out of town the Jews, Christians and Bedhowins when he was first pitching Islam.
Then they hold a grudge over the Crusades.
Then they hold a grudge against the Hindus and Buddhists of Tibet, Kasmir and what is now India
And they hold somewhat of a grudge over Turkey, which is a Western ally, which was an occupation force with the Ottmans.
Now you set up 5 or 10 million people in the various nations of Europe, Australia, Canada
Then you try a power play in which your internal insurgents can do in those nations as they are now doing in Iraq.
You keep the locals too busy with local fires to put out that they can't effectively work on a major campagin in India, Tibet, Thaliand, Africa.
Pretty soon you're doing like Germany did in WW2, taking over area by area and the locals are more worred about the domestic front. You have fighters inside the country, fighters outside the country. Two flanks. Two columns.
That was master plan.
But Bid Laden jumped the gun.
He did it way too soon. Massive Ego. I think he views himself as being the next Caliph.
All he's done is put the world on watch.
Islamic courts failed in Canada, Failed in Austrlia they are trying them in England but it will fail there.
Now the West is going after the Hajib.
So you have the opposite. You now have the West taking on Islam domestically and on foreign fronts.
Now you have people who didn't know an Islamic from an Presbyterian five years ago, who are now reading the Quran and saying "Gee, this stuff stinks of violence against everyone!"
And you have the rhetric of The Religion of Peace while they are bombing the Iraqi Parliment, Killing each other in Somalia, fighting Buddhists in Tibet and you got Imams calling Australia white women "Pieces of Meat" and also trying the claim that Australia is an ISLAMIC settlement because of the Abborigonese who (so they say) were Afghan Islamics who migrated.
Now you've got officials in the US raiding Mosques and arresting people for advocating violence.
You've got Homeland Security.
You've got the phone companies providing information on who calls whom.
You've got the internet providing details on who talks to whom (this post will end up in an FBI file somewhere).
The biggest thing we have to worry about are the PAcifics and Politcally Correct.
The people who say PEACE IN OUR TIME like England did as Hilter took over Poland, Austria.
The Chamberlines.
Christians shouldn't be tolerant at all, because the QURAN specifically says Christians are BLASPHEMERS for their religioius beliefs that Jesus is the Son of God and Died on the Cross, which ISLAM SAYS IS A LIE. IT'S NOT TRUE.
And you got Christians say
Oh, be tolerant with them!

Its prophecy thats comeing to pass.
Dan 8:20 The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia.
Media= middle lands
Persia= Iran
They are liken to a RAM
Dan 8:21 And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.
Grecia made up the known world back then. It is like a Goat
<><
Dan 8:4 I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.
Today we see the Ram(Iran) pushing and becoming great.
Dan 8:5 And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.
A Goat from the WEST, those nations that make up the United Nations of the west.
Dan 8:6 And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.
river is the tigris
Dan 8:7 And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.
The goat(United Nations) smote the ram(Iran).
Dan 8:8 Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.
And when the he goat(United Nations) is great his great horn(power) is broken in a deadly wound to the Political system.

Forget about the religion and look at the evil behind those who start wars to try and force their religion on others! It is the work of the devil! And don't try and remind me about the Christian crusades...again it is the work of the devil!! It doesn't matter who or what religion is killing in the name of "the highest power" the fact is the people who do that are tempted and influenced by the devil and the demons that have the ability to exist in the unseen. Christians freak out in some cases because we all forget or have not developed faith enough to believe God's word that says "Greater is He that is in me (The Holy Spirit of God) than he that is in all the world (people, the devil, demons)." Chaotic times can make everyone, Christian or not, fearful and doubtful but that does not negate the fact that Christ is Lord over all and the Savior to them that have accepted Him. It only means that sometimes in our fear we may momentarily loose sight of the truth that is so much more powerful than the thing we fear.

I agree that putting energy and emotion into a situation makes it stronger. And I agree that there is propaganda being disseminated for the purpose of making people fearful. But I question where the propaganda is coming from. It seems to me it is making people in America not less willing to fight but more so. It is the same kind of propaganda that once made people willing to allow their Japanese descended neighbors to be sent to internment camps. I think it is important to wonder who profits from making the people of America live in fear. I don't think the Muslims are benefitting nearly as much as some people right here at home.

What makes you think I'm freaking out about it? I can give a rats behind about the Muslims. Did you no that Satan's underworld Secret society is spreading like a cancer in society and how there doing it is hush hush! I would be more worried about that if I were you. The Muslims kill the body no more. This secret society which has spread and is spreading like a cancer would kill the body and trap you in Hell and other places of punishment for eternity along with the rest of them. People are blind and many have been taken captive like the Bible predicts. Those who go into captivity into captivity they will go.Beware of Satan's Secret Society.

I don't know why you think this is scaring Christians, because it doesn't, in general. True Christians know that God is in control of everything going on in the world, and we trust Him. We also know the Biblical prophecies concerning the middle east, and Israel. When everything is said and done, God's plan will come to pass exactly the way He intended it to. Islam cannot win--the battle has already been won. There is nothing to fear.

Christians who have studied prophesy, know to watch for problems in this area. It is more fear that Jesus will come back and their loved ones are not ready. (saved) Most Christians like me who watch all of the happenings in the Middle East are watching for fulfillment of prophesy and know that we are in the season Jesus talks about.
