Our diversity...not just in our culture...but in our geography and climate (I love that we have four seasons...although winter was a little disappointing)...as for our health care, it looks amazing on paper but in practice it's not so stellar...I mean I nearly died of appendicitis in the ER because the doctors could not diagnose it for A WEEK! And the wait times for MRIs (never mind the interpretation) is appalling...I had a friend who for over a year experienced severe back pain and the doctors maintained that it was sciatica but scheduled an MRI at his insistance in 4 months time...This friend in the mean time went on a trip to Argentina where the pain got a lot worse...he paid $400 US, got an MRI that same day and received the diagnosis of a malignant tumour on the lumbar spine the next day...this was confirmed back in Toronto when he went under the knife a week ago...it was the size of a tennis ball...So yes it is "free" and "accessible" by all..but needs a lot of improvement...especially in doctor training and wait times! Anyway...having said that...I wouldn't trade my country for anything in the world..."The true North strong and free!"

Spring!
Lots of room to get away from the city. Plenty of forests and lakes to explore, where I can take the dogs for a run
Four distinct seasons (though I've had enough of winter for now!)
Freedom to walk down the street unmolested, and even leave our doors unlocked
A beach within 10 minutes drive, no matter which way I go
Healthcare - if I get sick, I won't have to sell my house to pay for medical care

Spring, definitely spring. I always celebrate Spring Friday before the All Summer Weekend
(except for last year when I had to work the full entire week of summer spring and fall).
