Help--guys!?

Question

I am horrible at talking to guys. I can never think of anything to say! Help-- what kind of things do you talk to guys about and what do they like talking about?

Guys like talking about themselves. Acknowledge their accomplishments and bring them up often. Compliment him. He'll like you that much more. But make sure to bring attention to yourself too. But don't be braggy and DON'T EVER EVER EVER hog the conversation. and don't just sit there awkwardly. that's the worst. guys will just stare at you and think what is going on? why isn't she talking to me? if you aren't gonna talk, you might as well smile and twirl your hair.

lol, I'm horrible at taking to just about anyone. I enjoy being in the presence of people (females especially) but I rarely have anything to say... which they usually find extremely irritating. or they think that I don't like them.

Anyhow, I've maintained a bunch of relationships without ever saying much. Being able to talk and knowing what to say isn't really your problem. Your issue is insecurity.

In order to overcome insecurity, you need to be honest. Say "I'm really insecure, and I have trouble talking to people when I feel that way". He might be just as insecure and not have a response for you, or he'll accept your vulnerability with compassion and then you'll feel totally comfortable.
That's what you want - to be able to be comfortable. When you're comfortable you aren't concerned with how or what you're going to say...you just act like yourself.

Talking to guys is easy... Ask things about the guy, have a big smile, and always seem VERY interested to talk with him... All guys like the idea that someone thinks they are just the best thing...

Talk About: Men's Fashion, Computer Games, Sports, Cars, Gadgets.

Avoid: Women's Fashion, Hair, Celebrities, Money and Children.

I as a guy love to talk about music, not mainstream music but good music...or good movies that came out...when talking with a girl school/college issues are always easy///even drinking games are always fun...but if u want him to notice just be cute and make eye contact...if done well u'll know it

Most guys like sports and cars. But you should just start by a hi and learning what they like and go from there. The initial conversation is always the hardest I'm afraid to say.

. They probably are having the same problem about what to say to you, so it you talk about what you are interested in , be prepared to carrry most of the conversation.

News, weather, school are things you may have in common

Sports and cars are two safe topics that most guys would love to show their expertice in,

Politics and religion should be avoided until you know them better. Sex should not be discussed until you know them really well

Talk to him as if you were talking to your other friends. Ask him questions about him self and doing that you'll get to know him better. After you've bonded a bit start telling him about things you like, and aprecciate. He will see that you are a very caring and thoughtful person and want to get to know you better.

Just smile a lot, and eye contact. Eyes say more than a thousand words can. So if your tongue tied, let your eyes speak for you.
When he talks, show real interest in what he's saying. Nothing to boost his confidence than seeing someone interested and listening to what he saying.
