I went into a new high school knowing a grand total of five people, and of those five, I liked three. It's a big transition, no question, but why should you think that you have to change? I guarantee that once you get there, you will realize that there are loads of other people just like you who feel like they don't quite fit in (nobody acutally thinks they're going to fit in at high school, think of it that way.) You sound a whole lot like me. I was sorta friends with some of the "cool people," but not really. Now I have a huge network of friends (I'm a junior).
What I'm trying to say is don't worry. It'll probably be tough adjusting for the first few days, maybe even the first few weeks, but you'll get the hang of it, I promise. High school is scary for everyone, even the most popular kid you know. Feel free to email me if you have any more questions.
Good luck!!! (you won't need it!)

Sigh. What are your interests? Get involved in whatever it is that interests you - and do things that you know you do well.
When I was in high school - being popular required you to have brand name clothing - and a rich Daddy who had made a name for himself in town. My Daddy was dead and I didn't own much clothing that was considered cool. Therefor - I couldn't be POPULAR. Please. How stupid!! Money and clothing doesn't make a good person. In fact - a lot of the popular kids were kind of mean - and seemed to enjoy excluding others from their group.
I was a bit of a nerd. I was in the band. I was a theatre chick. And now - many years later - I still love music and theatre - and i have a LOT of friends. I'm so glad that I was poor. It allowed me to just be who I wanted to be - and not try to impress anybody.
Don't change. Figure out who you are - and be it.

im cool, i wouldnt wanna hang out with you though...I would rather hang out with the nerds...
all I can say is, treat everybody like how youd wanna be treated, even the nerds...
it pisses me off how the "cool-er" people looked down on the "nerds" and mock them and stuff, to me that wasnt very cool and not a nice thing to do....so I didnt hang out with the cool people too much, even though I can do the same things they can, when I was at school I was kinda cocky but I didnt like it when the "nerds" got picked on, I liked to identify with the underdogs...and I found that the nerds were better friends and have more fun in the long run...i wonder how many cool people would do that

in high school you should dress up. You know like fly. Forever 21, Rock And Republic Jeans fitted shirt and pumps. Accessories and everything. Perfume and a purse. Keep your hair styled and maybe put color in it. The last thing is to stay smart. You will get to know alot of new people and it'll be fun.

stay the same so people will have a chance to know the real you instead of some made-up you. The odds are you will at least make a few friends. Be confident and be yourself.

HOnestly........Just Be Yourself*~ Everyone that goes into highschool..find out who they are..You will go through changes..you're growing up* You will definately meet new ppl, new friends...it's scary for you as it is for every other person going to highschool. Trust me...being yourself is the best way to go. PPL will Like You For Keeping it Real, not trying to be someone you're not~ That's not flattering~
GOod luck and just relax* It's a new beginning for you, a new path to take in life..You're growing up* just make smart choices* (not hanging with the druggie groups, or gang groups) and be y ourself*

You shouldn't change for anyone but yourself. What you could do ease into a public school is to find something that interests you (drama club, newspaper, etc.) and you will definitely make new friends and have a good time doing it. =)

stay the same... if you have to change to be peoples friends, then their really not your friends. act normal and you will find friends. when you graduate high school, no one in college/ or future plans is going to know if you were "cool" or not in high school,...

Don't change yourself just to fit in at a new school(or anywhere, for that matter). You've got to be yourself, that's the first step to being truly cool. Just be yourself, and I'm sure you'll do just fine :)

Some don't fall for the "difference" because it fits the citizens. The NRA goes to spend $forty million this autumn on promoting in opposition to obama. It turns out they did their homework on his stance in opposition to gun possession and don't seem to be satisfied he has converted simply due to the fact he stated everybody has a constitutional proper to endure palms. His earlier statements approximately assisting the DC gun ban and folks clinging to their weapons is what they base their opinion of obama on. If the NRA used to be no longer in opposition to Gore, he might have gained alternatively of Bush, in order that they do have have an impact on. Voters who fairly study a candidate don't seem to be fooled by way of obamas folks gratifying rhetoric.
