just do sum flexibility stretches. You kno like the ones where you sit on the ground and reach forward and touch your toes. If you do a couple pf stretches a day for like 15 secs each you will be doing the splits in no time. To stay flexible i do a catepillar roll, hip opener, and birds of paradise

Like the first poster said, yoga can really help.
I practice Pilates and that has helped me do all kinds of things I could not do before. (No, not like that!)
Start off slowly and work your way up to more complicated things. I saw results in less than a month - I was doing the Pilates routine 4-5 times per week.
Good luck!

Well I know that the Pilates program has a bunch of stretches that you can do to become more flexible. Check it out. You can google pilates. You can purchase a book or DVD that will guide you through the stretches.

Oh that's an easy one, just practice 2 to 3 times a day. Go down as far as you can, and hold for about 10 seconds, then bounce your body a few times...gently, don't hurt yourself. It's a great stretching exercise!
