Would you eat a piece of excrement?

If not then why do you eat pork?

Perhaps if I explain further..

Pigs eat s h i t, you eat pigs. You are what you eat.

As far as pork is concerned, read the bible and you know why.

I've often wondered where it says in the bible that I shouldn't eat pork. I read the entire book once and am went through the New
Testament again, but could not find reference.

I know that God gave man dominion over the animals of the land, water and sky. They are used for food, work and sacrifice. Then Jesus came and told us in the New Testament that we did not need to offer burnt sacrifices.

Perhaps you can update your question with this info.

I am not a christian per SE but I think it's wrong the way people attack them when they don't attack other religions. Muslims have a pretty judgmental religions to, but people don't attack them like Christians. Why do people feel it's okay to attack Christians but the same people go out of their way to kiss other religions ***? Don't get me wrong their are annoying Christians but at least are zealots don't blow things up. they do however shoot doctors from time to time which
ain't cool either.

but onto your pork question, it was a good idea back in biblical days not to eat pork because if undercooked it could kill you. But now if your starving and you won't eat a porkchop because it's against your religion your a smidge of a jackass maybe?

I'm not sure what you mean. I know plenty of non-Christians who eat pork. Pig is a magical animal. You can get the following out of it: Ham, Bacon, Pork and Crackling

how are they synonymous?

One is waste excreted from the rectum of a living creature.
The other is the flesh of the porcine species, and tastes real good with melty cheese on bread.

To Natty: the not eating pork is in Leviticus, Old Testament, I forget chapter and verse(Its a few pages from the homophobes favorite passage) and it talks of cud chewers, and split hooves and being of one or the other but not both and that shwat defines edible meats.

I dont eat pork.....yeah, not a good idea....God had a good food list in Leviticus....plenty of clean meats to chose from.
