Hi, I'm a former muslim and I have converted to christianity. My muslim friends have all said they do not like me anymore and they say i will go to hell for leaving the religion of Islam. They say christianity only works for white people and i'm black and will therefore never be accepted in heaven.

I don't really care where i end up, but i like my children to go to heaven. Is it really true that black men never can go to heaven?

No, any man regardless of skin color can attain paradise.
In the not so distant past though, Mormons did consider people of color as an accursed race.
Yet Jesus himself, and his disciples afterwards made perfectly clear that any man that does the will of his father makes himself God's friend, and as such is equally qualified for eternal life.
God Bless.

I hate to just quote the scripture to you here you can read the whole account in Acts 8:26 through the end of the chapter.. "a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians," He was the First non Jew to be brought into the Church. There very first! He was black and believed and God made him His child. If you are a believer in Christ now I would have you know that you have eternal life. 1 John 5:13 "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God".. See it says HAVE, not will have, not if your are good enough, but HAVE Eternal Life NOW! Don't worried about not being excepted. I would be thrilled to stand at your side as we worship our Lord together in the New City.... Jim

God does not discriminate, although many religions have in his name. God speaks to us all in our own way, and if he spoke loud enough to you to change the nature of your faith that should be a sign.

You did not state what the catalyst was for your conversion either too or from Islam.

You also should ask, why do so many Black men only find Islam in prison(yes a lot of crackers find Jesus there too)?

How is Islam a religion of peace, yet to my knowledge, the only one still employing suicide bombers?

If God/Allah is on their side, why are they the ones doing the killing?

If the Judeo-Christian West is the great Satan, and Allah is on their side, (and last time I read revelations, the good guys win)why are they so hell bent(forgive the pun) on bringing about Armaggedon? I mean I'm patiently waitting for it.

I suppose so much persons who're severe approximately the Bible accept as true with you that Jesus is not white. He was once born from a center japanese mom and was once darker I'm definite from being out within the solar additionally. In Isaiah fifty three the Bible says that there was once not anything unique approximately his appears: "He grew up earlier than him like a delicate shoot, and prefer a root out of dry flooring. He had no cosmetic or majesty to draw us to him, not anything in his look that we must wish him." As a long way as God is going He is a spirit and has no fabric sort like we do. People simply consider what they wish to with out pondering frequently I wager.

Wow, are you off base. First, God is God, not only of white and black, but of the entire UNIVERSE! That includes life forms we know nothing of.

It's not surprising that your muslim friends react that way, though, they have followed a path laid out by Satan, not by God. That's why the Qur'an denies basic tenents of both Christianity AND Judaism. That wasn't Gabriel that spoke to Mohammed, it was Satan appearing as 'an angel of light'. That's why it is so important to test the spirits, so you won't be fooled by evil ones.

As Jesus said, you will know them by their fruits. Where's the love? Head chopping isn't my idea of love. Did God give them permission to judge other religions? No.

Finally, you cannot make decisions for your children. God HAS no grandchildren. They will have to decide for themselves who they will choose to follow.

Jesus loves everyone and invites all to come to him.
Christianity doesn't just work for white people. The early church were Jews. Christianity has its roots in Judaism.
England has done much for the gospel, but that doesn't mean they have a monopoly on God.
Jesus said.."Whosoever will, let him come..and drink of the water of life freely" Revelation 22.17

According to Paul in Galatians3

"26You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, 27for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."

Your Muslim friends are wrong. Nearly all the Christians of the first century were non-white. St Augustine was from Hippo (in northern Africa), the Ethiopian and Coptic (Egyptian) Churches has existed since the first century. "Anglo" -Europeans were converted centuries later. The majority of Christians in the world are non-white -Asians, Africans make up more of the Church than white Americans and Europeans.

Islam is much more ethnocentric in that it insists that the Quran is to be read in Arabic. Christians are free to translate the Bible into whatever language there is.

It sounds like your friends are pushing all the right buttons with their lies.

I suggest you find some new friends.

God is no respecter of persons. He treats all the same, and loves all the same.

Their are millions of black Christians, both here on earth, and in heaven.

UH, I would have assumed you would have known a LITTLE bit more about a religion before turning your back on your old one.

Obviously, something motivated you to become a Christian.

Whatever it was, how good could it have been for you to think that God is a racist?

And how EXACTLY do you believe that Christ died to save you AND that you're going to hell because you're black?

Sorry son, you're not a Christian, because you still don't believe in Christ as your savior.

It says in Romans 10:13- "(Whoever) calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved". Do you know what the Greek word for "Whoever" is? Its "Whoever". It does not say
Romans 10:13 "Only the white skinned person who calls upon my name will be saved".
So my friend, you are justified by Jesus Christs red blood upon the cross to enter into His presence if you've received Him as your Lord and Savior.
